I had always been apprehensive when it came to learning how to drive and so it was important to me to find a teacher who had A LOT of patience and who offered a style of teaching which provided a friendly and calm learning experience. I wish I could say that Judy was able to provide this, but unfortunately I cant. Because she provided so much more! Her knowledge and experience in the field of driving is upstaged only by her ability to read people and adapt her teaching with perfect individuality. I have had experience with other instructors and therefore I can say with upmost certainty that Judy doesn't just teach you how to pass the test, she teaches you how to drive safely and confidently. Considering my goal was to learn to drive so I could drive my little niece around this was very important to me! Im sure Judy would agree that it hasn't been a smooth journey, over the past few months lives stresses have played a part in me throwing a tantrum or two! But her support never wavered! She made me want to pass for me, but I also wanted to pass for Judy because she put so much into teaching me how to drive and helping with my confidence on the roads. AND I PASSED FIRST TIME! I would highly recommend Judy as a driving instructor to anyone, I, as a student had the ability to drive yet lacked in my own self confidence and got annoyed with myself if I didn't do everything perfectly. Judy helped me manage my nerves and was incredibly patient with helping me build up enough confidence to be able to go in for my test. Judy has shown me that I am a capable individual and given me a confidence boost which not only helped me with driving, but in everyday situations as well, I feel having someone believe in you makes you believe in yourself! She always made me feel relaxed and made me laugh on every lesson and is very approachable so it's easy to ask any questions, in fact she loves questions!! As an absolute beginner, Judy has taught me literally everything I now know about driving. Over the past few months I have had both driving lessons and life lessons in that car as not only has Judy taught me how to be a safe and competent driver but also a confident one. Even when I found myself being stressed or lacking faith in my own abilities, Judy got me through it with unfaltering kindness, patience and understanding. The lessons were personalised so that I was taught in a way that I would learn best, with the right amount of support when I needed it and the independence to learn at my own rate. Passing my test first time was an absolutely amazing feeling and I'm sure that if it wasn't for Judy and her outstanding teaching I wouldn't have been able to experience this.
