Can not recommend ab driving school enough. I started with tony being a very nervous driver. He made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable and helped me gain my confidence on the roads. Which lead to me passing first time with only 1 minor. If learning to drive with a fantastic instructor is what you want look no further. It's totally changed my life. I'm very thankful to Carol, she thought me how to drive and must say she really did everything possible for me to get through the all process. Obviously everything worked out very well, even better than we expected. I am just so grateful for her efforts! I am not saying it was easy to get it all right and eventually to get my full license, but exactly that makes you feel that emotion of success, because it is all down to hard and consistent work from both of us. AVOID AB DRIVING SCHOOL. They are super dodgy!I will try to explain as briefly as possible what happened to me, but it's difficult to paraphrase just how much hassle I was put through.I wanted to get my license as soon as possible. I was attracted to AB because of the 10 lessons for £99 beginners deal. I had undergone a number of lessons over 4 years ago with one instructor. I explained this to the instructor (Beverley) over the phone when booking the first lesson and she happily agreed. We booked the first hours lesson upon those terms.I handed her the £99 on the first lesson and she explained the terms of the deal. She told me that she had forgotten to bring the contract with her but assured me that she would bring one next time. I naively agreed and handed over the money. We booked in 2 hours for the next lesson. In the first 5 minutes of the lesson we got into a trivial argument about punctuality and maneuvers which ended with her ending the lesson and kicking me out of the car telling me to send her my bank details so she could refund me. I want to make that clear that She ended the lesson. I was happy to continue with the lesson once my nerves had settled.After a few days I checked my bank statement and noticed I had only been refunded £30 out of the £89.10 that was owed to me. I had only had one hours lesson at a rate of £9.90. Beverley ended the lesson. I complained to her manager and he got in touch with her. A few days later I received a forwarded message from Beverley to her manager. The message explained that she had decided to charge me for 3 hours at a full rate of £23. So she thought it acceptable to charge me over double the agreed amount for 3 hours of lessons, two of which I didn't even receive. Her reasons for this were because she regarded me as untrustworthy, accusing me of being "awkward" and deceitful in order to get the £99 offer. She also called me a "time waster" and created fabrications about my prior driving experience, even though I was completely transparent from the beginning.    She thought it absolutely fine to overcharge me £59.10. This is a huge amount of money for me to loose. I responded to her message explaining my side of the story and was continuously ignored. I called her manager several times. It rang, and then went to voicemail every time. After no response for weeks, I saw no other option than to ask my uncle, who is a solicitor, to write a letter demanding a proper refund. After which, as if by magic, AB Driving School began to reciprocate. They stated that all their instructors are self employed so they are absolved of all responsibility regarding the dispute. Beverley then forwarded me an email she had sent to her manager regarding the solicitors letter. She accused me of fear mongering and said I don't have a leg to stand on because there was no contract signed. She then contradicted herself by stating both that she dealt with the matter in a professional manner whilst also choosing to hold back the contract because she deemed me to be dodgy from the start. So she held back the contract because she didn't trust me, yet she was more than happy to take money from me. She misled me and lied to me about running out of contracts. And she continuously spouted falsehoods about my legitimacy to her manager.Anyway, I eventually ended up getting refunded a fraction of what I was owed after over a month of unnecessary stress and hassle and without any direct communication from Beverley. And after all this, I still can't drive. Thanks AB Driving School, thanks Beverley. AVOID AB DRIVING. They are seriously dodgy. Read Less
