Last week I passed my test first time with John. What makes him a great instructor is that he is extremely patient, very thorough, and every lesson remembered exactly what I needed to practice. His positivity made me feel very confident when driving, and constructive feedback always helped me to learn from mistakes. I had already had around 35 hours experience with a few other instructors, but I found John had taught me far more than the previous, and was my favourite of them all! I am so happy with the result, my husband got PASSED 1st TIME. From the first appointment he always came early and the price of lesson is reasonably accepted as he gave all lessons comprehensively, improvements continuously, and building the self confident as well. Pat is the driver who helped my husband so much, and at the first calling he said he will help and it is proven. it is so true.. Awful instructor. Didn't receive a whole lesson when I was paying £45+ for 2 hrs a lesson and only having 1hr to 1hr 30 mins. Instructor was rude and always messed me about. I got no closer to driving properly than when I started, after 5 months I was still being treated like I didn't know the basic manoeuvres. After changing schools to Bill Plant. Costs more but you get what you pay for at Bill Plant. Wouldn't recommend this school on my worst enemy. Or my old instructor anyway. Read Less

Just passed first time with Pat! Really great instructor. Extremely calm and encouraging. Very understanding of individuals needs and adapts the lesson to how the pupil seems that day. Absolutely superb driving school. I recently moved to Birmingham having just passed my test in my old city so didn't have a lot of experience. I decided to take a pass plus course with pat and he was a legend. He made sure we covered the required topics including motorways and encorporated our routes with areas he knew I wanted to visit and know more about.
