Darren worked very hard to build up my confidence, which started very low due to a few accidents in the past and how late I learnt to drive. He took his time and was patient when I backslid in my confidence. I also felt in control of the car far quicker than I imagined I would,... which was due to his instruction. Naturally have an even more positive view of GDI because I passed first time. I would recommend, especially if you're a bit more worried about learning to drive than others or think you'll need a lot of confidence building. As an added bonus he's also quite fun to talk to in the car, which helps you stay relaxed and also makes the whole experience more pleasant. If you're like me you needed quite a few lessons, so having someone you get on with definitely helps. See More

I would highly recommend Darren. The informal and supportive way he teaches immediately put me at ease, and eliminated any worries I had about learning to drive. I went into my test feeling confident and passed first time thanks to Darren. He has made me a safe and confident driver, I honestly cannot recommend him enough!

Darren is an excellent driving instructor who is full of enthusiasm and does all he can to help people pass. I had a regular 2 hour lesson once a week until I was ready for my test. Although I didn't pass first time Darren filled me with confidence to keep trying and answered all of my questions and worries. Darren did all he could to make the experience very enjoyable and as easy as possible. Any problems I had with lessons he sorted and is very adaptable to specific needs if any. An amazing teacher and would definitely recommend.

I would definitely recommend Darren to anyone looking for a driving instructor. I found his teaching style really suited the way I learn. Before I started lessons with Darren I used to feel really nervous about driving and not very confident in my ability. Darren’s style of teaching made me feel relaxed from my first lesson and that increased my confidence and definitely made me enjoy lessons more. I have Darren to thank for supporting me so that I was able to pass my test first time.

If you are looking for a brilliant and reliable driving instructor, then look no further. Darren is your guy! From the moment I met Darren he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, every lesson is different and so much fun. I was always looking forward to every lesson I had with GDI. This is one of the best thing I’ve ever done and I passed my test today because of Darren believing in me and helping me every step on the way. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Darren can’t do enough to help and will go out his way to do anything for you to be the safest driver out there.

Darren is extremely patient and an all-round excellent instructor. I'd had a bad experience in the past with my previous teacher, but Darren put my mind at rest and really helped my turn my driving around. I passed my test on Monday, and I couldn't have done it without Darren.

I passed first time with no minors and I owe that to Darren. He created a fun, relaxed atmosphere in the car which made learning to drive seemed easy. I had things going on at home when I was learning and Darren would often alter the lesson plan based on how I was doing that day. He always pointed out when I did something well and helped me learn from mistakes and quickly move on from them. He is a very fair guy, a very very good driving instructor and a genuinely nice person!.

Darren is a great driving instructor, who I would defiantly recommend! Before driving lessons I'd had a lot experience with racing my own kart and had good knowledge about driving in general. However it was Darren who taught me that driving on the road is very different to driving a kart, and the huge responsibility it involves. He was very relaxed, friendly and gave clear instructions. He taught me how to be a safe, controlled and more confident driver. His experience and knowledge of what the test involves really helped, pointing out key "hotspot" areas that you may have in your test, and the possible test routes. Thanks to him I passed first time, with no minor faults at all! I would highly recommend Darren to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Found Darren online and was overwhelmed at the amount of time and care taken on his website. Darren made me feel comfortable and excited about driving, and always gave feedback in a positive manner. He is always relaxed and never rushes anything, whether that's driving or understanding the concepts. So pleased I went with Darren! Am now driving happily around by myself, very big thank you!

Darren worked very hard to build up my confidence, which started very low due to a few accidents in the past and how late I learnt to drive. He took his time and was patient when I backslid in my confidence. I also felt in control of the car far quicker than I imagined I would,... which was due to his instruction. Naturally have an even more positive view of GDI because I passed first time. Although I didn't pass first time Darren filled me with confidence to keep trying and answered all of my questions and worries. If you are looking for a brilliant and reliable driving instructor, then look no further. Darren is your guy! From the moment I met Darren he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, every lesson is different and so much fun. I was always looking forward to every lesson I had with GDI. This is one of the best thing I’ve ever done and I passed my test today because of Darren believing in me and helping me every step on the way. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Darren can’t do enough to help and will go out his way to do anything for you to be the safest driver out there.
