Steve is an incredible driver that knows what he's talking about and have helped me so much to be a more confident driver. I passed my test yesterday: first attempt !! I am very happy about it and I cannot thank Andy Butler enough. He is so patient and observant. He pays attention to very minute details. Every time I made any mistake, he tried to understand my thought process and tried to train my mind so I did not repeat the same mistake again. He is pretty focused and tries to drive down the point and routine each time around. He is also very flexible when rearranging lessons which is always a plus point when you are working full time. My experience with the surrey driving force was absolutely wonderful. The prices for the lessons were very good and I was able to pass my test first time with 6 minors and after only 48 hours of lessons. My driving instructor Leon, was very helpful and always made me feel secure in the vehicle, even when we had couple of close encounters. Leon was also very friendly and fun to be around, which meant that it felt more like driving with a friend than a lesson. There was rarely a point during our drives where I felt confused or unsure what to do, and even if I was I was never afraid to ask. If I had to do all of my driving lessons again I would definitely do them with the Surrey Driving Force! Read Less

My driving instructor was Naresh. I started with him after beginning on a manual, then switching to an automatic. I suffer from Tourettes, which makes it difficult for me to properly handle the gears. He never once let me down, and encouraged me to overcome my fears of driving. He made me feel like I could do it, despite never having thought I could when I was growing up, due to my condition. I started with Surrey driving force and had my lessons with Steve Hawkins, Steve defiantly knows what he's talking about and his experience showed, he will happy talk through and demonstrate manoeuvres ect; millions of times step by step until you are 1000% confident. Steve was able to give me a range of times for lessons fitting them around my work schedule and was very patient when I got super frustrated when I couldn't get something right! Steve started early on the day o...f my test just so I could practice what routes might come up and so I could practice the manoeuvres and roundabouts so I wouldn't panic and I would feel more confident ahead of my driving test! For someone who gets super frustrated easily and puts pressure on herself Steve was positive an patient enough to put up with my mood swings! If you are looking for lessons I would defiantly recommend SDF and Steve!
