Phil took everything that I needed to know and figured out exactly how to teach it in a way that suited how I learn. He didn't beat around the bush and just got us on the road, explained all the things I needed to know in an understandable and applied manner, and broke down everything into manageable steps.It was genuinely surprising how quickly he got me feeling confident behind the wheel. The lessons fly by and basically became a couple of hours of good conversation ending feeling like I'd taken a big step towards passing.In the end I passed first time and I've been driving for a couple of weeks now trying to apply everything I've learned. I learned to drive with Phillip in my holidays while at uni, and passed within a few months of graduating on my first test attempt with only 4 minors. Phillip’s system of two hour lessons made me more comfortable driving for longer stretches, and made the test seem much shorter and less daunting. I was really nervous to start driving but Philip was the best instructor I could have asked for to get me through my learning experience. Philip is good at explaining things and will spend more time on an area if it's needed (practically and/or theoretically). He is very patient and will help and guide you through whatever it is you find difficult.The lessons are fun and informative but also very relaxed, Philip is great at chatting with you about what you're interested in and what you're doing and this can really help when you're a bit nervous.Phil also has a very good knowledge of the test routes and this helps through the learning process, the test becomes something you're working towards and not something you're scared of.He is a fantastic teacher but also a great person, I'm really glad to have met him. To anyone out there reading my review (I was reading reviews on this page a year ago!) I really recommend that you have Philip as your instructor, you won't regret it. Read Less
