Myself and Edward Elsden had the fortune of Martin training us for our b+e trailer tests. We are both farmers in our late 20's and early 30's and so needless to say had developed some bad 'habits' along the way! Martin's professional and at times humorous training, (a good tonic for our nerves) was excellent. Very thorough in the time we had (2 days), he got 2 rusty farmers through with two faultless tests! I have just done 2 days training with Martin then straight in to my trailer test can't praise his teaching methods and attitude enough. He explained everything that was needed calmly talked me through everything needed and in full detail. He got me driving in every situation possible and on every route possible to give full preparation in traffic and out of traffic would not hesitate in recommending Martin at all he is a top bloke and will get the result u want and need. Martin has not only been my driving instructor for a year or so, but also someone who I have a lot of respect for. I was very nervous and anxious when I started doing driving lessons. The thought of driving scared me so much that if it wasn't for my friend stealing my phone whilst we were having dinner and messaged Martin herself on my Facebook account, then I would have probably never started to drive. If you are anxious, and tend to get confused quite a lot and need a lot ...of things explained to you...quite a few times...then Martin is the best person for that. He listens to you. Answers any questions. Never ever shouts. Although he does have a tendency to say that he *nags* a lot but he never does. He has a calm relaxed approach when speaking to you and is always happy to go over things if need be. He is always on time and is very professional. I always felt comfortable in the car with Martin and very safe. I never thought I would be able to drive in my life and from passing my test yesterday I still can't believe that I actually did. I would fully recommend Martin to anyone who is looking to start driving. And if I ever needed any more help or questions answered then I'd always pick Martin over anyone else. Martin is by far the best driving instructor within the diss/ bury area. Having tried a number of different driving instructors beforehand, I can safely say that Martin's training is the best in the business. I passed first time with Martin's help and it was down to the fact that Martin doesn't put any pressure on his pupils, but ensures that at all times, you're making solid progress.
