I had a great experience learning to drive with Hugh. It was clear to see within the first lesson that he is very good at what he does. He has a great way of teaching manoeuvres which make things so easy and simple that it’s almost impossible to get it wrong! On a personal level it was great to learn from someone that I could also get along so well with. It was great to chat to about music, football, or just life in general. Something that helped me was that Hugh wouldn’t shy away from conversations regarding mental health, whilst also taking this into consideration whilst preparing me for my test. Thanks again Hugh! I've heard of many bad experiences with driving instructors, but Hugh is not one of those. Extremely lucky to have him and pass first time, no faults, and could not recommend him enough! I was a couple years later to driving and so often struggled to balance lessons and practise with limited time. Had to take a 3 month gap at one point. But Hugh was ready to get started again as soon as I was able, no questions asked. Constant encouragement to keep practising and learning, with a straightforward and frankly honest approach. I always understood where my progress was, even when Hugh had to convince me I was test-ready and to be confident in myself!
