After having no previous driving experience and feeling nervous about driving a car for the first time I managed to settle into my lessons quickly. Pete is a brilliant instructor who was patient, calm and encouraging throughout every lesson and allowed me to learn at my own pace by explaining every situation as it came. My confidence built each week during lessons with Pete which encouraged me to take extra practice in my own car. Despite passing my test on the third attempt as a result of silly faults in my first two tests, Pete remained with full confidence in my driving ability and fully supported me both up until passing my test and afterwards with my motorway pass plus training, a highly beneficial and confidence building experience. I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Pete and will continue to highly recommend him as an excellent driving instructor who is patient, calm, friendly and affordable, big thank you!!!! 😃

I would just like to say a big thank you to Pete for helping me to pass my test first time! I never thought after my first lesson I could do it, but with time and patience and a brilliant instructor I can now say I can drive! :D I really enjoyed my lessons and would highly recommend anyone to learn to drive with Pete. Thank sooooo much!!!

PETE=FANTASTIC ...... :D:D Pete is the bestest driving instructor i have ever had before i went with pete i had no confidence or anything he totally boosted my confidence up before i went with pete i had 3 different instructors and non of them were any good but then my friend had been with Pete to and she had past with him he is that good i put in for my test the first time and i was a nervous wreck but then i got told how good Pete was and did lessons with him and then i got more and more confident each week and them he finally said that i was ready and i felt ready so i went in for it and passed the first time :D:D so well done peter mathews fantastic i will recomend you to everyone ino who is about to learn or learning no well done you for Jodie Leverton xx

PETE = amazing! this was 3 years ago now when i had my lessons and i still say he is the best! i had never touched a car before learning with pete, he didnt push me, he gave me time and i learnt at my own pace. he was calm and just the best ever. all my other friends went with other instructors and moaned that they huffed and puffed, but pete is so kind and thoughtful! i passed within 4 months - first time NO minors! it was all down to pete! THANK YOU PETE.. sorry its like a 3 year delay rating haha :) SAM SLACK

after having no experience in a car whatsoever pete got me settled and learning quickly, i enjoyed all my lessons as hes friendly and also an excellent instructor, i couldnt of hoped for better. i passed with two minors thanks to him and also did pass plus, now ive been on the road for 6 months without an accident of any sort; proof that learning with pete was the right decision :) cheers pete!
