What a fantastic experience I had with New Star Driving school. I had intensive lessons booked with a different company that let me down last minute. I got in contact with Maneem at New Star and he was so professional and helpful. He really spent the time and care organising something for me, making sure it was the best service for me. He then got me some lessons with Tami THAT DAY! I met Tami on the Friday and over the course of 3 days I had 10 hours worth of lessons and then passed my test first time on the Tuesday (I had a number of hours driving instruction years ago too so it wasn't completely new). Tami was such an excellent instructor. She was polite and clearly very good at her job. She broke the manoeuvres down so they were clear and easy and safe to carry out. She picked up any mistake in a polite and professional manner and really personalised the driving to suit what I needed more practice on. She was great and gave me everything I needed to pass my test in a matter of days. All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this driving school to anyone looking to learn to drive. Maneem was amazing! I’m unable to use foot pedals and so Maneem went out of his way to have hand controls fitted prior to our first lesson. This enabled me and future learners with similar disabilities to have the opportunity to learn to drive and to gain independence! Throughout our lessons Maneem was very patient and he took a great deal of time to explain everything to me and to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I felt very encouraged and positive when I went for my test and because of this I passed (yesterday) first time!
