I was very pleased to have Steve Hales as my instructor, I'd been learning for a while privately and briefly with a previous instructor but decided to change for various reasons. When I meet Steve Hales I told him my learning background and wanted to know how far I was for booking my test. At the end of my first two hour Lesson he was able to tell me that I should have four more lessons and book my test. Everything he said was clear on what needed to be worked on.
