Appalling behaviour from Laura Berating younger students, shouting at them and making them feel incompetent, leaving them in tears. Always late to lessons, cuts lessons short, both by almost half the lesson time but giving no refunds. Constantly changing test dates, and telling them they're not ready, when the previous lesson telling them otherwise so a test date was booked. Messed my daughter around, cancelling lessons, changing test dates and she regularly came home crying after and she was having panic attacks because of her shouting. She forced her to go automatic and said she'd never make it with a manual, even though she'd previously been told she was doing well! She also would tell her off for not doing something right when on a previous lesson she had told her differently. What really shocked me was when she was told to go over the speed limit and was told she has to do as she was told, my daughter knew better and thankfully didn't break the law. Laura would regularly be texting or updating her app whilst my daughter was on a lesson. I passed my test back on the 14th of February 2017 with the help from my instructor Laura. The theory test pro site that Laura logged me into free of charge was amazing and was the exact online tuition that I needed after several failed attempts with other apps / online theory tuition sites. Also meaning I passed my theory first time. From day one Laura gave me the support time and tuition that I needed to feel like a safe confident and independent driver that I needed to b...e to pass my test. For the first time in a while I looked forward to my lessons on a Wednesday afternoon as I could see and feel the progression I was making weekly. Laura never cancelled or failed to turn up to a lesson while always remaining to turn up on time each week and on the one occasion that Laura was going to be late she informed me with plenty of prior notice that due to traffic she was going to be approximately 10-15 minutes late. After passing my test I went straight onto the open road alone in my own car and to combat the first stage nerves of being alone, I remembered all the little pointers and sayings that Laura had taught me and that I kept in my mind to talk myself through each situation safely but promptly as they arise. Due to life and driving going so quickly I haven't had the chance to review La driving school or Laura for that fact however I have always been sure to recommend Laura at every stage needed in the last few months to anyone and everybody. Nervous? lack confidence? need to be made to feel in control? Then Laura Allen is the lady for you. Laura it was a complete pleasure for you to have taught me to drive and I will always forever be so grateful for what you have helped me achieve the freedom and open road is amazing and no more bus journey to face every morning.
