Taught both myself and my daughter to drive and we have both passed our tests now. Took me longer than most people to learn because I was quite anxious of driving from the start. James is very patient and really nice. I enjoyed talking to him and spending time with him, he is a good teacher. Thank you James for helping me and for not giving up on me, you're the best!

I can’t recommend James highly enough. He taught both of my sons, and thanks to his excellent teaching, they both passed their driving tests, one of them first time! He is calm, patient, and very reassuring, which really helped build their confidence. He was also extremely flexible with lesson times and always did his best to fit around our schedule. A fantastic instructor and a pleasure to deal with throughout.

Absolutely outstanding driving school!
James was an incredible driving instructor from day one. I loved the way he taught each lesson — calm, clear, and full of confidence. After my very first class, he told me, “You’re going to pass on your first attempt,” and that trust meant a lot to me. And he was right — I passed with just one minor fault!
As an Asian learner, I felt completely comfortable with him. He was patient, supportive, and always made sure I understood everything without any pressure. His teaching style is so encouraging that every lesson felt like real progress.
I’ve already recommended One Way School of Motoring to my friends, and they also passed with James. That alone says everything about the quality of his instruction.
If you’re looking for a friendly, professional, and genuinely skilled instructor, I highly recommend One Way School of Motoring. James doesn’t just teach you to pass — he teaches you to drive confidently for life.

Just passed my test today first time. When I started having lessons with James I was a nervous wreck and even if I was capable of something, didn't have the confidence to do it. James showed so much patience and used his sense of humour to make me feel very much at ease. It feels like he's worked wonders considering how anxious I was to begin with. Great guy and very professional. He made passing my test fairly easy as he made sure I was prepared for everything. Thank you very much

Excellent driving instructor. I was learning to drive throughout uni so I was a bit all over the place, but James really bought me along and really helped with my confidence issues. He implements step by step methods into driving and this really helped me during lessons. I would highly recommend him
