Failed with my first instructor, had lessons with Tony for just a few weeks and passed first time with him! Brilliant instructor with so much experience, lovely man too which helps when you’re in a car for two hours, recommend him to anyone 100%!

I would recommend 1st Step to anyone looking for a reliable, personable and professional driving instructor. I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. Tony makes you feel comfortable and calm throughout every lesson; as an entirely new driver this was essential for me. Furthermore, my awkward working hours were accommodated very well at every opportunity and my need for a quick turn around to obtain a full licence was met perfectly when I passed first time! Thank you so much.

I am delighted to pass my driving test with only 5 faults. Thanks to 1st step school of motoring and Tony who is professional, calm and supportive. I found my lessons punctual and constructive... I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn, especially those who are apprehensive to get going on the roads. He is relaxed as they come, this filled me with confidence...Thank you to all for your time and support...

Such a great instructor,was so patient and encouraging.He always put a lot of effort into my lessons to ensure I was ready to pass my driving test.Couldnt recommend him enough!

Passed first time with tony and wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. He’s extremely calm, patient and friendly. Definitely recommend!!

At the age of 31 I returned to learning to drive with 1st step school of motoring. Tony was a great instructor patient with me but also quick to notify me of errors and explain why they were an issue....
At the age of 31 I returned to learning to drive with 1st step school of motoring. Tony was a great instructor patient with me but also quick to notify me of errors and explain why they were an issue. Tony greatly helped me gain confidence on the road and with his great tutelage I managed to pass my test first time. If you are looking for a great instructor then look no further than Tony Cove of 1st step school of motoring.

I would recommend 1st Step to anyone looking for a reliable, personable and professional driving instructor. I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. Tony makes you feel comfortable and calm throughout every lesson; as an entirely new driver this was essential for me.
