A huge thank you to Hamish for helping me pass my test today, I have used a few instructors but very glad I found Hamish as he knows exactly how to teach in a way which makes it easy to pick up and never makes you feel silly if you have to go over the same thing again and again! Would highly recommend! Thank you again.

Hamish Hill is obviously a competent teacher as I learned the basics from him and he has a good pass rate, but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone with anxiety. From my experience he was impatient and got frustrated with me very easily. His teaching was inconsistent as some days he was patient and calm and we got on great and other days he was the opposite and I was clearly just annoying him. It was maybe a personality clash, but even if that was the case I still dont think its very professional for a driving instructor to tell students that they frustrate him, its not exactly encouraging. The lessons where over priced for an instructor who picks and choses when to be tolerant with his students.

A huge thank you to Hamish for helping me pass my test today, I have used a few instructors but very glad I found Hamish as he knows exactly how to teach in a way which makes it easy to pick up and never makes you feel silly if you have to go over the same thing again and again! Hamish Hill is obviously a competent teacher as I learned the basics from him and he has a good pass rate, but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone with anxiety. From my experience he was impatient and got frustrated with me very easily. His teaching was inconsistent as some days he was patient and calm and we got on great and other days he was the opposite and I was clearly just annoying him. It was maybe a personality clash, but even if that was the case I still dont think its very professional for a driving instructor to tell students that they frustrate him, its not exactly encouraging. The lessons where over priced for an instructor who picks and choses when to be tolerant with his students.
