I had lessons with UTAH, and I think he has been great. I passed the FIRST TIME after my 14th lesson with only 3 minors. Utah really knows what he is doing and gives you really good tips on how to go about it.
I disagree with the negative points said about him though, which i would like to argue against (so buckle up).
Yes, he does get another student to pick you up at times and drop them off - don't see why that is a problem though, many instructors and driving firms do that. If anything, it's good to see a third person drive to learn/pick up some of their habits. You're able to compare the level you are at (in your head) or think about ways to improve yourself (so why not hey?).
Yes, he does take phone calls, but it being on loudspeaker with the music blast on in the background is just a straight up lie (come on guys, lets be real). So yeah, he takes phone calls (work related may i add - either to book someone in due to after office hours or to let someone know that he is running late/coming slightly early) BUT he's on his handsfree (hello! Completely acceptable and within the law). Again, what is wrong with with that? Sorry to break it to some of you, but in a real life situation, you're gonna get distractions (just saying).
Flirting/pervy instructor?? (LOL seriously... what are people like). Basically laughably amd utterly false (my god lol). Put it this way, i'm a lady, reasonably attractive and not once has Utah ever been inappropriate with me. If he has taken the steering wheel from my hand, it's because we were both about to die.. (doing his job as well as showing that actually, he is 100% alert/completely focused when you're driving). Sorry guys, but no I didn't think 'oh he touched my hand, he must be a flirt/perve' (Quite ridiculous if you ask me lol).
To conclude, it is interesting to see how everyone practically copies eachother when it comes to the negative remarks (gets boring after a while). Personally, i think they are from those who haven't passed and crave someone to blame.
However i would say this, if you can NOT take constructive criticisms WELL and have NO DESIRE to pass your driving test QUICKLY, then no Elliotts School of Motoring is not for you (because believe it or not, that's what it's all about at Elliotts... LEARNING but most of all ensuring you PASS with CONFIDENCE).
Considering the amazing prices, over 40 years experience, the driving experts and incredible pass rates with low number of lessons (i did it in 14!), Elliotts is honestly the NUMBER 1 choice to go for, because if i can do it (FIRST TIME), then you can too!! :D
Anyways, want to say many thanks to UTAH... you are the BEST! It has been nearly a month since i passed, and i'm practically driving every day! Thank you for bringing me to this stage where i enjoy serving others as a chauffer haha. Will miss taking lessons with you Utah :)

I have to disagree with the negative comments below.
I've just finished my 12th lesson and from having no lessons before, Utah has completely boosted my confidence regarding my driving. He is a very good and patient instructor who knows exactly how to do it best.
12 lessons in and thanks to Utah, i reckon i'll be ready to take my test in no time! :)

Very unprofessional stay away. Constantly on the phone texting and chatting and eating his lunch. Not concentrating on your driving. Discusses your business infront of other learner drivers. Knocked my confidence by saying what I should do then when i later did it said that he didn't tell me that. Always turned up late often 25 minutes or more and didn't call or apologise for being late. Wants to know all your personal business. I did not learn anything in my lessons and wasted my money. He would get you to drive to the next learner drivers home then you get in the back of the car and they drive you home. Then discusses your personal business in front of the other learner driver. Please do not waste your money. He Utah the owner is more interested in your money.

I have had 3 instructor and I have failed my driving test. I finally pick myself up to try again. I was recommended/ read reviews about Alex when I contacted Elliott fortunately I was given Paul. He encouraged me. He made driving so simple. He took me through my test route which l had never been in all the time spent driving. He taught me so much reality to driving that will help me in my driving life. I recommend him to family and friends and Anybody.Paul was very patience with me. He spotted the down sides/ my weakness that my other half had also spotted. And gave me assignment on that. He tried hard to work on my weakness. He showed appreciation when l drive well that boosted my confidence. Am more than happy to tell Elliott Paul is a SUPER STAR , He's a good pair of hands for your team. Well done Paul.

I've just finished my 12th lesson and from having no lessons before, Utah has completely boosted my confidence regarding my driving. He is a very good and patient instructor who knows exactly how to do it best.

I have had 3 instructor and I have failed my driving test. I finally pick myself up to try again. I was recommended/ read reviews about Alex when I contacted Elliott fortunately I was given Paul. He encouraged me. He made driving so simple. He took me through my test route which l had never been in all the time spent driving. He taught me so much reality to driving that will help me in my driving life. I recommend him to family and friends and Anybody.Paul was very patience with me. He spotted the down sides/ my weakness that my other half had also spotted. And gave me assignment on that. He tried hard to work on my weakness.
