Ian gave me the confidence to be able to pass my test despite having failed attempts in a manual with another instructor. Ian was calm and clear on all lessons. He is polite and friendly and also has a good sense of humour which really helped in the lessons. I also went back for motorway tuition where Ian explained the rules of the motorway and how motorway driving is different. I cannot recommend him enough.

Ian Johnston's driving instruction is amazing, he makes you feel relaxed and under control with simple techniques to help you break manouvres step by step therefore making it easy to achieve and not as scary as you think it might be. He has loads of helpful hints and tips and he is supportive throughout which helps to build your confidence as you learn. Thanks Ian I couldn't have done it without you x

I'm just over half-way through a block booking of manual car lessons with Ian as he has both types of car available. He let me try him out to see if I would feel comfortable with him first and then I booked a block. Ian is so calm and trusting. His clear instruction coupled with his constant feedback (including lots of praise) has meant that I am a far more confident driver than I thought I would be by this stage. I'm thinking about taking the Advanced Motorway Training Course with ADI after I pass my test so I'm even more ready for all situations.

First lesson Ian immediately filled me with confidence. I was kind of nervous after a 4 year break from lessons but instead of micromanaging Ian was very reassuring and only butted in when needed.

Started my driving at the end of last year and had a bad experience with a different company. Was recommended to learn with Ian so I started with him at the beginning of the year, and 8 months later I passed. My confidence was previously knocked but Ian managed to bring it all back within weeks. Definitely recommend, especially if you're a nervous driver.

Ian (from ADI school of Motoring) is a very good instructor. I started learning in a manual however changed to automatic drive after extensive advise from Ian he is very experienced at teaching both manual and automatic drive. Ian is very good with nervous learners and has had a lot of experience with teaching dyslexic students such as myself. The driving tuition is very comprehensive and I was well prepared for my test which I passed first time.

Ian gave me the confidence to be able to pass my test despite having failed attempts in a manual with another instructor. Ian was calm and clear on all lessons. He is polite and friendly and also has a good sense of humour which really helped in the lessons. He has loads of helpful hints and tips and he is supportive throughout which helps to build your confidence as you learn. Thanks Ian I couldn't have done it without you x

I'm just over half-way through a block booking of manual car lessons with Ian as he has both types of car available. He let me try him out to see if I would feel comfortable with him first and then I booked a block. Ian is so calm and trusting. Started my driving at the end of last year and had a bad experience with a different company. Was recommended to learn with Ian so I started with him at the beginning of the year, and 8 months later I passed.
