Drew is an excellent driving instructor!! I can't recommend him less. The skills, reference points & advice he gives are second to non compared to what I got from previous instructors. Drew was a very patient instructor who was flexible with the timings of my lessons. He was calm and helped me pass my test first time. My dad also learned to drive with Popular som and he felt very at ease also. Drew has a great sense of humour and would make the scary experience of driving relaxing and enjoyable whilst helping me learn new things weekly. Great.For several months after my 17 birthday I struggled to find a driving instructor that I felt confident and safe with, until I came across Drew Nicol. In the car, you feel safe as well as calm and confident. I did not have the luxury of being insured in my parents car but thanks to popular school of motoring I feel that it is something that I do not need to pass as I am fully confident that I can pass with the knowledge that Drew has bestowed upon me. I passed first time with Popular School of Motoring. I'm 42 and have always been a bit sceptical about learning as I got older and with the first 2 instructors I still felt like this but Popular School of Motoring helped me overcome my nerves. So for those who are a lot younger you will breeze through with Drew as long as you listen. 18 hours with Drew and as I said I passed first time. I just wish I'd had him from the start and i could have been driving in September instead of November. He is an excellent instructor and is patient and gets on with teaching and doesn't mess about with little talks at the side of the road that have nothing to do with teaching someone to drive.
