I moved to Chris after my previous instructor, doing almost 2 years of lessons and 4 attempts at the test, I wasn't getting any constructive feedback and felt really let down and belittled when I didn't pass.
Had my test today after learning from Chris I passed with only 4 minnors. All I can say is I wish I found Chris sooner, straight away I felt comfortable under his guidance, he's really easy to talk to and very patient and all ways has feedback after everything you do behind the wheel, whether it be showing good judgement or doing maneuver.
Everything he teaches is simple and easy to grasp and no over complications. (I was previously taught the reverse around a corner with about 8 steps that was knocked down to 3 steps). Only had a hand full of lessons with Chris before the test and felt 100% ready.

Although I only had the pleasure of taking a few lessons with Chris, he has by far and away been the best instructor I've encountered - I know this to be true as I've dealt with 4 throughout the course of my lessons. Chris was friendly, chatty, on the ball, punctual, professional and has a way of teaching and explaining things that is conducive to producing excellent results. Superb instructor and a pleasure to deal with! Thanks, Chris.

Just passed my driving test today and couldn't be happier with my lessons with Greer's Gears. Chris is a fantastic instructor, giving very clear instructions that made learning to drive painless and fun. Chris's constant encouragement and relaxed attitude helped me to relax and get over my driving and test nerves. I would definitely recommend his lessons to new drivers. Thanks Chris!!

Honestly cannot recommend Chris more as the perfect driving instructor and an all round, genuine, kind hearted guy! Having no driving experience at all, and very little confidence to begin with, Chris always remained patient & enthusiastic and helped my confidence grow! Chris is a fantastic instructor who is very understanding and really puts the client first. I personally wasn't very confident with driving at all at the start, but Chris helped me to build up my courage. He is extremely good at identifying strengths and weaknesses in your driving and allows you to improve through excellent knowledge and calming approach. A very good instructor who goes the extra mile for the customer. I would recommend to anyone as his attitude, work ethic and ability is incredible. Considering this, his prices are extremely competitive in this market, and the value for money is very high.

If anyone is looking for an instructor to start your driving but you are unsure, give Chris a call as he is the man to go to! Only had 2 hours with him Sunday and passed today! (I Had about 10 hours when I was 18 but that was it)! He's a genuine guy and could see that I didn't need no more lessons and refunded me the remaining money that I payed for a block booking! If you're a nervous driver or just starting to learn give him a shout!! 10/10 for this man!

I really liked Chris as an instructor, but he was late to a lot of my sessions and frequently cancelled on me as well. He never answered my phone calls, and took a while to reply to text messages. The last lesson I had scheduled he didn't even turn up, or notify me that he wasn't coming. So unfortunately, he didn't meet the 5* rating I expected when I first booked blocks of lessons.

Chris was a good instructor to start with but has continually let my son down by cancelling lessons at the last minute and also not bothering to return multiple calls and texts over the past few weeks trying to reschedule lessons. As a result my son has only had 2 lessons since Christmas and we've now had to go to a more reliable instructor.

Took genuine pride in helping me to learn to drive. Helping me to gain confidence in my ability to drive. Explained everything really clearly and if I made a mistake he would happily encourage me to have another go. He made me feel completely at ease and I enjoyed our lessons. Always on time and always smiling and happy. I passed my driving test Yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Would most definitely recommend Chris (and have already) to anyone looking for a driving instructor. I know how hard it can be to find the right person.

Really top class driving instructor never lets you down. i have to say I've recommended Chris to every one . Great lessons, very patient and understanding. Would highly recommend to confident and nervous drivers alike. I had refresher lessons after 32 years of driving and learnt so much more than I thought i would. Although I only had the pleasure of taking a few lessons with Chris, he has by far and away been the best instructor I've encountered - I know this to be true as I've dealt with 4 throughout the course of my lessons. Chris is a fantastic instructor, giving very clear instructions that made learning to drive painless and fun. I personally wasn't very confident with driving at all at the start, but Chris helped me to build up my courage. I really liked Chris as an instructor, but he was late to a lot of my sessions and frequently cancelled on me as well. He never answered my phone calls, and took a while to reply to text messages. Chris was a good instructor to start with but has continually let my son down by cancelling lessons at the last minute and also not bothering to return multiple calls and texts over the past few weeks trying to reschedule lessons. As a result my son has only had 2 lessons since Christmas and we've now had to go to a more reliable instructor.
