At 32 I had put off learning to drive after a really uncomfortable experience when I was younger and my confidence had plummeted. I would highly recommend learning to drive with Licence2Drive after carrying out a semi intensive course over the summer holidays and passing first time. Gareth made me feel at ease throughout all of my lessons and helped me to build confidence within my own decisions and throughout driving. Was taught by Robert Buxton and it was an absolute pleasure! Always friendly and positive during lessons and supportive outside of them. Took me a few attempts to pass due to nerves on the day, but Bobby always keeps confidence in you and gives you encouragement every step of the way. Fantastic driving school! I was taught by Gareth and passed first time after a semi-intensive course over 6 weeks thanks to his calm and patient teaching. Gareth was very helpful and knowledgeable when arranging the lessons and gave invaluable advice to learn at the correct pace for myself and when I had some family issues that conflicted with my arranged lessons Gareth was understanding and very supportive in making sure everything worked at no inconvenience or worry to me. I came to Licence2Drive after a lengthy gap in learning and not having enjoyed by previous learning experience elsewhere but these lessons restored my confidence and enjoyment in driving with great teaching from Gareth, with his friendly and calm approach, where he explained everything clearly and can adapt easily if another approach to learning something would be better. There was a great atmosphere in these lessons where you can learn without pressure and have a laugh but also it is clear there is a great focus on making you a good and safe driver not only to pass your test but be able to drive confidently after. Highly recommend this driving school. I've been learning to drive for 15 months, and after a bad experience with Chilled driving school, I didn't want to carry on learning to drive but... all thanks to Rob, I have finally passed. As soon as someone recommended Rob, within a week I started having driving lessons with him. He was able to fit me in very quickly and could always work lesson times around me, and very easy to contact regarding lesson times etc, very organised. His... lessons were always useful and I started to progress a lot quicker than before. Lessons were always enjoyable (blanking out Green Lane & manoeuvres that I hated doing). Rob is very relaxed but is firm with his way of teaching, however without that, there's no way I would have passed. Very supportive with his ongoing positivity and patience that overall created a relaxed environment to learn to drive. Truthfully, I think I will miss the lessons (not sure about the singing) & reassurance that I'm doing something right but I cannot thank Rob enough for all his help as not only can I now drive, he's helped me gain confidence behind the wheel which I didn't know I had. If you want to learn to drive, I would definitely go with Licence to Drive, and ask for Rob if you can... (as long as you can put up with "good" singing for 2+ hours) Tumingin Pa Read Less

I began lessons with Alan about 6 months ago without any previous driving experience and enjoyed it immediately. He was relaxed and patient in his explanation of everything, and was always friendly and positive on every lesson. He was always contactable and very easy to talk to, as well as being a great teacher. I passed first time and feel as though I have learnt to drive safely and enjoy it instead of just being taught how to pass the test. I cannot recommend License2Drive, especially Alan, highly enough! I started my lessons with Rob after having been with another company and feeling like I wasn't progressing very much. My lessons with Rob were always enjoyable, and his teaching style was relaxed and easy to understand. He was always kind, patient and positive, and without those things I really don't think I would have passed as they really helped with managing my anxiety, especially with my test. Highly recommend!!
