Brian is a truly amazing driving instructor; I couldn't have asked for a better person to teach me to drive. He is so friendly and patient, helping me every step of the way, keeping me calm in what seemed at the start a scary process. He helped me realise that driving isn't frightening at all and now I absolutely love it. I wouldn't have passed first time if it wasn't for his brilliant teaching and reassurance. Brian is an excellent driving instructor who has shown a consistent, patient and calm approach to the art of learning to drive. As a pupil of his Minischool for three years, he showed me how to spot situations before they could occur, how to deal with these situations if they did occur and how to calmly sort out any mistakes I may have made. He understands how daunting it can be, from making the car move for the first time, to dealing with large amounts of traffic and busy roads which can be instantly off putting to any road user, let alone a pupil with 'L' plates. He is always willing to help either with theory or hazard perception or understanding the mechanics of a car, especially why it does why it does and what makes it run well. All of these made him, to me a first class driving instructor who would stop at nothing to get me through my driving test. It took four attempts and just over three years to get me through but it was because of someone like Brian who never lost faith in me, had vast amounts of patience, and built my confidence up so that I can now quite happily go onto the roads and deal with everyday driving situations calmly and most of all happily.
