I would highly recommend Simon Henson who is a brilliant instructor. it was with intrepidation that I paid for my wife to have an intensive course which in this case was 12 hours. I thought that she lacked confidence,was hesitant, and generally lacked the know how to pass her practical test. However after her first session with Simon when I picked her up she seemed a changed person. Simon had given her the confidence and the know how to improve. Over the course of the next 2 days she improved sufficiently to pass her practical test first time with flying colours. Thank you Simon.

5 stars is not enough for Simon Henson. I wish I could give him a million! I have tried before with different instructors (yes, plural!) and had more or less given up. I was destined for the bus. Somehow I got myself up and by luck I ended up with Simon. The poor man had the patience of an angel . I didn't know left from right, froze and too often ended up on the wrong side on the road. Simon bless him, kept his cool and I felt very much at ease with him. He never gave up... on me!! Just kept going through the manoeuvres and rules over and over again. There were times when I thought I would never make it but he kept my hope up. Always encouraging me And here I am!! A woman with a drivings license!!! Only the day my son was born tops this day. I will recommend Simon and the Academy to all my friends and family. Thank you Simon. You have made a dream that I have had for 19years come through. Thank you!! See More

I've been a very slow learner with driving and I also developed a problem with panic when driving and particularly about meeting the standards of the driving test. I've been trying to learn off and on for 19 years with local instructors in the midlands and after taking a long break from it I passed this time on my 5th attempt after doing an intensive course. I had a couple of panics on the day of my test but Barry got me through it. He was very patient and an excellent teacher. The automatic car was nice to drive and Pete organised everything for me really well. King's Lynn is a lovely town to spend a week's holiday in and a great place to learn. Even the examiner was pleasant and calming. Highly recommended!

I took the 25 hour intensive driving course with Simon Henson as my instructor. The course gave me much greater confidence in driving and Simon provided brilliant methods and tricks for both driving in general and passing the test. Simon is very easy to get along with and I think the fact that after 5+ hours a day in a car for week we could stand the sight of each other is testament to that. Before the course I had only had a couple of professional lessons and done some driving with my parents. After the week I was able to pass my test. I would highly recommend Simon and this course to anyone learning to drive.

I live very close to a driving instructor but he does not do intensive courses and recommended Academy to me. I kinda guess if a driving instructor friend recommends them then they must be good and I was right. Why had I put off learning for so long thinking it would be too hard for me?I had lessons with Pete who I cannot praise more highly, he just made everything seem so easy and I passed with no driving faults - yes he was that good!!!I also met two others who were learning at the same time with Academy and they passed too so everyone at Academy seems just as good. I will always be in your debt, thank you so much

I did the 25 hour intensive course with Mark in the Smart Automatic. All I can say is that Mark is simply a brilliant instructor who really cares about getting his students a pass . He immediately put me at ease and for the first time I really enjoyed driving and felt safe and confident. Having failed a couple of tests 18 months ago, I had nearly given up the idea of pursuing my licence, but within 2 days Mark had me back up to test standard and with a far better understanding of driving and rules of the road than ever before. Mark was great at identifying and explaining places on route that I struggled with, and we would repeat them until I got it right and felt comfortable. I finally passed my test with 2 minors and I honestly believe that I could not have achieved this result without Mark's excellent tuition and knowledge.Pete was also very supportive and and dealt with all the financial arrangements and the booking of the test in an efficient manner that made the whole process as stress free as possible. Academy Intensive were absolutely fantastic and I would strongly recommend them to anyone wishing to pursue their driving licence."Kind regards and again many thanks to you and Mark

I would highly recommend Simon Henson who is a brilliant instructor. it was with intrepidation that I paid for my wife to have an intensive course which in this case was 12 hours. I thought that she lacked confidence,was hesitant, and generally lacked the know how to pass her practical test. However after her first session with Simon when I picked her up she seemed a changed person. Simon had given her the confidence and the know how to improve. 5 stars is not enough for Simon Henson. I wish I could give him a million! I have tried before with different instructors (yes, plural!) and had more or less given up. I was destined for the bus. Somehow I got myself up and by luck I ended up with Simon. The poor man had the patience of an angel . I didn't know left from right, froze and too often ended up on the wrong side on the road. Simon bless him, kept his cool and I felt very much at ease with him. He never gave up... on me!! Just kept going through the manoeuvres and rules over and over again. I've been a very slow learner with driving and I also developed a problem with panic when driving and particularly about meeting the standards of the driving test. I've been trying to learn off and on for 19 years with local instructors in the midlands and after taking a long break from it I passed this time on my 5th attempt after doing an intensive course. I had a couple of panics on the day of my test but Barry got me through it. He was very patient and an excellent teacher. The automatic car was nice to drive and Pete organised everything for me really well. King's Lynn is a lovely town to spend a week's holiday in and a great place to learn. Even the examiner was pleasant and calming. Highly recommended!

I took the 25 hour intensive driving course with Simon Henson as my instructor. The course gave me much greater confidence in driving and Simon provided brilliant methods and tricks for both driving in general and passing the test. Simon is very easy to get along with and I think the fact that after 5+ hours a day in a car for week we could stand the sight of each other is testament to that. Before the course I had only had a couple of professional lessons and done some driving with my parents. After the week I was able to pass my test. I would highly recommend Simon and this course to anyone learning to drive.

I live very close to a driving instructor but he does not do intensive courses and recommended Academy to me. I kinda guess if a driving instructor friend recommends them then they must be good and I was right. Why had I put off learning for so long thinking it would be too hard for me?I had lessons with Pete who I cannot praise more highly, he just made everything seem so easy and I passed with no driving faults - yes he was that good!!!I also met two others who were learning at the same time with Academy and they passed too so everyone at Academy seems just as good.
