I first encountered the DTC leith 2 years ago when I enlisted in their theory test training which was outstanding . And helped me pass my test getting all my questions right and only losing 2 points on the hazard perseption. Like I said this was 2 years ago and being the un organised lazy individual that I am , I only actually got round to starting my driving lessons a couple of months ago. Being 34 i was very nervous as they say the further past 17 you are the longer it takes you to learn. However I was given the services of Shaiob hopefully correct spelling) by the DTC who was absolutly fantastic . Not foremost for his teaching abilities but for his patience and and his ability to make me feel calm and take the pressure off and help me believe I was more than capable. (think there was maybe a few times he was worried on the run up to my test ha ha) . So thank you very much I am extremely happy and cant thank you more. Read Less

Im not from the Uk or EU , passing a road test in this part of the world is as difficult as crossing a desert for me. BUt i managed. I passed! and it was only possible because of my instructor Michael. He gave me hope, encouragement , and most importantly understood my sense of driving and corrected it in a polite manner repeatedly. I was given appropriate and steady training at all times. He taught me with passion and enthusiasm. I know these lessons will remain with me life long. Highly recommend DTC And if u are opting for 'automatic'-trust me you want to go with Michael ! Excellent driving school and instructor Pat. Very organised, friendly, value for money and great quality. Pat was fantastic as an instructor. I've had three previous instructors.....two of which were awful....unfriendly, overly critical and poor standard lessons. Pat was just the opposite. Friendly and put me at my ease straight away as at 28 and putting off lessons after previous bad experiences it was difficult getting behind the wheel again. I learnt to drive a little later in my life, wish I had done it earlier! I have read the other reviews for this company and wholeheartedly agree, from start to finish my experience has been a positive one. Particularly want to thank Karine and her team for all the help with booking both theory and practical test and my instructor for his patience and instruction, I know I must have really pushed that patience button a lot, however, you really are a man of your word, you kept me together, even if I felt I was falling apart.
