My name is Katherine Hartley and I'm a fully qualified (A graded) DVSA approved instructor based in Edinburgh.
I have been teaching learners since 2006 and am up to date with all the latest training methods from the DVSA.
I provide a relaxed, friendly and patient environment for learning; I believe that learning to drive should be fun and not a chore. I teach to a high standard and in a professional manner.

Katherine is a very good instructor. I went from knowing nothing to a safe considerate driver all thanks to her. The lessons were always pleasant and she's an extremely experienced teacher and driver. Passing the test was no problem at all.

Katherine is the most patient, smartest, amazing, just simply the best teacher in the world!
With the minimum amount of lessons with her, me, a person who really had a hard time understanding how driving a car works, learned it and passed both theoretical and practical exams from the first time.
I would absolutely entirely cosmically from all my heard recommend Katherine for anyone who wants to learn driving or to practise it more. I am forever thankful for her being so thoughful and patient with me, and helping me to reach the best results in driving.

Katherine is the best instructor I have had, I was with 3 more instructor's from differect driving schools before I took classes from Katherine, and she outshone them all.
She is always calm and supportive, very punctual and her teaching methods were tailor to me. With her help I managed to pass my test in the first time.

Katherine is an excellent driving instructor, very patient and positive. I had different instructors before and was always extremely nervous when learning to drive. After first lesson with Katherine I was more confident and relaxed than ever, she really knows how to explain things well with very friendly manner.

Katherine is a very professional driving teacher, always on time and very flexible when organizing lessons. I previously drove in the United States and needed to work on specific areas of driving, and also un-learning some mistakes I had been making while driving in the UK. Katherine was a very effective teacher and I passed my test with an awesome score! Very happy about that! :-) Definitely recommend

Katherine was very patient, punctual and always full of answers and positive reinforcement. I am pretty picky and do not do well with being told what to do. In my specific case, I had been driving for over 10 years in the Americas, but I needed a course to ensure I got my UK drivers licence in one go. After testong out and failing other instructors, I was always comfortable and happy to spend an hour driving around with her. She has the gift of making you feel like you are "hanging with your friends" while learning at the same time (a couple years later and I catch myself muttering to myself the steps when doing a flawless u-turn or entering a roundabout). Highly recommended!

Katherine was very patient, punctual and always full of answers and positive reinforcement. I am pretty picky and do not do well with being told what to do.
