I have been learning to drive with Chris for just under a year now and have just passed my test first time under his guidance. Based off my time with Chris I can say that he is hands down one of if not the best driving instructor in the north west. His knowledge and attention to detail in lessons are second to none which guarantees you take something away from each lesson. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone starting off driving or looking to move onto another instructor, you will struggle to find anyone better. Thanks again for everything Chris!!

Learning to drive……A memorable experience I will never forget!
It can be a very scary and daunting experience especially if you have never been in the driver’s seat before, however, Chris makes you feel very welcome, safe and relaxed from your first lesson to the last. Learning to drive isn’t a fast process and can take many months to master but not once did he lose his patience or temper with anything that happened, even if I did get a little close to a car or repeatedly indicated the wrong way because I apparently didn’t know my left from my right.
He was very consistent in everything he did and was very patient if it took a little longer to understand things, he tailors all lessons to the student’s ability and goes along at a pace you are comfortable with, giving you as much time and practice as you may need. It’s like most things in life the more practice you get the easier it becomes.
I would recommend Chris to anyone wanting to take driving lessons because he goes above and beyond to ensure that when you go for your test you are more than ready. He stands out from many driving schools because of the extra mile that he goes such as the reflective log he does after the end of each lesson. It is very beneficial as you can see how you are progressing and where you maybe need to focus on for your next lesson or if you are driving outside of tuition.
I can’t thank Chris enough for getting me through my driving test and managing to pass first time with only 1 minor.

The thought of learning to drive can be daunting, but having Chris as my instructor actually made the whole experience very enjoyable! His friendly manner put me at ease straight away and through all my lessons his patience and calm attitude didn’t waver once. Every lesson was well structured and the reflective logs completed at the end of each one allowed me to clearly see how I was progressing. Despite feeling nervous on the day of my test, I knew I had been given all the tips I needed to do my best. With both me and my brother passing our tests first time with Chris, I highly recommend Kellett’s Driving School to anyone wishing to learn with a highly experienced and encouraging instructor! Thanks again Chris!

For anyone who has ever taken on a new challenge, they will understand how difficult it can be to find the confidence to persevere when the correct support and guidance isn't given. After spending my hard earned money on driving lessons with a previous instructor, who not only did I feel uncomfortable with, but who also made me dread our lessons, the prospect of me ever having a driving license was honestly unimaginable. So eventually I got to the point where I was just too s...cared to get in the driver’s seat again. My parents were extremely disappointed, but not as disappointed as I was in myself, as it was completely out of character for me to give up. Roughly 4 months later my dad (postman Pat) was speaking to Chris Kellett who immediately said, “I’ll get her passed.” So with much nagging and encouragement I agreed to have a lesson- Thank God I did. Thank you so much Chris. You have been an amazing teacher and so supportive throughout the last few months. I am so grateful for your belief in me and your informed and structured guidance. All this had led to me being self-confident and more importantly, an independently SAFE driver. Chris is one of the few educators out there who takes a step back from the objective nature of teaching and focuses directly on the student’s individual needs and progression. I passed with Chris in 2008. He was that committed to getting me through my test after several nerve induced fails he even came with me on the test. Despite me now driving an average of 500miles a week his lessons can still prompt me to be a safer driver. He is tutoring my son now, Chris you must have nerves of steel

With previous family members passing through Chris, I couldn't imagine going to anybody else to help me pass my test! His reflective logs are great as they give a sense of progress and he gives great feedback Chris himself is very patient and encouraging, even on the bad days He has definitely obtained the highest level of knowledge for a driving instructor, people would be silly to miss out on the opportunity of learning with Kellett's Driving School!

I'd just like to thank my amazing driving instructor Chris Kellett for helping me through my driving! Although it has been hard and I don't know how he has got me through it, I have finally done it!!!! Thanks for your dedication and patience to my driving, you deserve driving instructor of the year!! As weird as it sounds I'm going to miss my Monday night driving lessons, but I'm sure you're not going to miss your McDonald's for tea and getting home late. Thanks once again for the independence I have been wanting for long time! Highly recommend to anyone, if he can get me through he can get anyone through!

The best in Blackpool!!!
After spending my hard earned money on driving lessons with a previous instructor, who made me dread our lessons together, the prospect of me ever having a driving license was honestly unimaginable. So eventually I got to the point where I was just too scared to get in the driver’s seat again. I was so disappointed in myself, as it was completely out of character for me to give up.
Roughly 4 months later my dad was speaking to Chris Kellett who immediately said, “I’ll get her passed.” So with much nagging and encouragement I agreed to have a lesson- Thank God I did. Chris has been an amazing teacher and so supportive throughout the last few months. I am so grateful for his belief in me and his informed and structured guidance. All this has led to me becoming self-confident and more importantly, an independently SAFE driver.
Chris is one of the few educators out there who takes a step back from the objective nature of teaching and focuses directly on the student’s individual needs and progression. That is why I would and have recommended him to anyone out there who wants to become a completely competent and confident driver. Choose the best! Choose Kellett’s Driving School!"
