Without hesitation I would recommend Sutherlands Driving School to anyone thinking of learning to drive. Iain is a friendly, patient and encouraging instructor with a wealth of experience and knowledge which made learning to drive a truely positive experience.

Could not have asked for a better instructor to help me with my driving! Iain was able to identify what part of my driving I was struggling with from my very first lesson and never gave up on me (even if I did). So happy to finally be driving but will definitely miss my lessons with Iain

100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! I started my driving lessons in December with some road driving experience in the past and I passed my driving test yesturday! I honestly could not of done it with out Iains calm, reassuring, professional teaching techniques. It was amazing how much I was learning in each lesson! Iain does not just tell you to do something but he explains the reason why it is better for you to do it aswell so then you don't just know how to do it, you know why as wel...l, which I think is very important. I am far from a car enthusiast and I never had even looked under the bonnet but now.. I am educated about the engine and how it works, the braking system and how it works and so much more. Before I started having lessons with iain, I thought I was already a good, safe driver but looking back today, how wrong was I! After having lessons with Iain, I now can control the car 100% better and in general 100% much better driver so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sutherlands Driving School and a big massive thank you to the man himself, Iain, for all the much needed reassurance and helping me pass on the month I wanted to pass in. This has changed my life and has opened so many doors for me now so again, thank you. See More
