I'd learned to drive with my husband-to-be Initially and picked up the basics of how to drive a car on the roads. Approaching my test though I realised I still felt unconfident in how to do the manoeuvres required to pass a test. I phoned around several instructors to polish my skills and liz's personality seemed a good fit for me as she was confident and reassuring and seemed to understand what I wanted. I only had 5 lessons booked with her, with an hour slot each time, and she never hurried me, sometimes with the hour running slightly over, so she could make sure I'd pass. She talked to me about daily things during the lessons like a normal passenger would to get my brain driving more automatically and less rigid and nervous and on my test day she actually sat in the test car with me to give me moral support. I passed first time! Despite us not knowing one another before my lessons, she came to my wedding shortly after my test, to wish me luck in my future. I found liz to be friendly, professional and very supportive toward my lapses in confidence. I've enjoyed driving since and no accidents in the two years since I passed. So thank you ladybird. Wasn't enough instruction when I said I wasn't confident at all about my driving, she said with the amount of hours I'd had (I explained I'd barely touched the wheel during them), that I should be better so she said this will be big girl driving where she lets me get on with it. The lesson went terrible, was close to some accidents which she seemed distressed by too but I'd said I needed the help. She was very polite at the end of the lesson and said she wouldn't give up on me and would call me as she was in a rush but didn't hear back again. Read Less

I was involved with someone who failed first time with her. She was always difficult to contact and rarely called back. He advised her 10 weeks before his next test he had confirmed on gov.uk with her ADI number. He found out the night before his test that she had booked a test with someone else who had only booked the week before and left him with no car and no instructor. She tried to blame DVLA but the test was still available, just not her or the car and she wouldn't change things. He actually passed using his Mums old car he had only driven a few times and an hour pre-test with a relative. Totally unprofessional in my view.
And to add insult to injury she posted about "another successful pass" on Facebook! Read Less
