Just finished my lessons with Stu (Kingston Driving School) having passed my test a few days ago. I have had lessons with other instructors before however that did not work out. I got in contact with Stu and he has brought my driving skills up to an advanced standard. He is a great instructor who really knows what he’s on about. Not only that but he’s a down to earth guy who you can have a great laugh with. If you’re looking to learn how to drive, don’t waste your time or money. 5 days of nothing but banter, laughter and learning to a high standard of how to drive. Loved every second with Stu, proper geezer and absolute gentleman. Made me so relaxed and didn't just go onto the next part of the lesson until the manoeuvre or gear change was spot on. I have recently passed my driving test first time (4 minors) with the wonderful Stu from Kingston Driving School and wish to recommend him and the company to everybody and anybody looking to learn to drive. I am naturally a nervous person and had great anxieties when it came to learning to drive however, from the beginning to the very end of my 40-hour course, Stu worked to push and encourage me through my anxiety and constantly offered me different learning techniques that he felt would suit me as an individual to aid my progression. I felt very valued as a learner and felt that my course was made to fit me and my learning style which in turn made my time learning: calmer, easier and more enjoyable. Stu is an extremely fair, patient, clear and a dedicated instructor. He has ability to keep you at ease and push you to drive at a standard much higher than the typical driving school, I feel I have been prepared for my life as a full license holder in a much safer, advanced way by Stu and my anxiety and fear have been combatted through his consistent reassurance, variety of learning exercises and professional teaching. I would give a review much higher than 5 stars if I could but nevertheless encourage all those looking for a driving school to go with KDS as they truly are fantastic and make the entire learn-to-drive experience so much more than just passing your test.
