I completed an intensive 3-day Class 1 course with Keith, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Keith is incredibly experienced and makes sure you learn everything you need to feel confident and prepared.
Huw, the owner, along with his wife Mandy, were also extremely helpful and professional. They explained everything clearly, making the whole process easy to understand. Learning with them genuinely felt like a pleasure, not just training.
I also completed my CPC with Keith — superb and straightforward. I highly recommend Williams Huw Driver Training to anyone wanting to progress in their driving career.
Huw even trained my wife, and she passed her Class 1 first time, which says everything about the quality of instruction!
Thank you all so much for everything. My next step is the D licence, and I can’t wait!

I passed my Class 1 test after just three days of training, despite having no previous experience with lorries. Huw was incredibly understanding, patient and supportive throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble — he answered every question clearly and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
A big thank you as well to Mandy, who did a fantastic job organising everything smoothly from start to finish.
I’m very, very happy with the whole experience and highly recommend Williams Huw Driver Training Ynys Môn Ltd to anyone looking to get their Class 1 licence.

I did my full HGV C1 (C+E) with Huw Williams. They helped me and guided me from start to finish. They book your tests and retests. Very professional! The instructor was very knowledgeable and has a very unique way of instructing. The amount you learn in such a short time can be quite overwhelming! But I was in the best hands. Thank you for your service.

I have had experience of lorry and trailer test training with Huw and John and have found them to be excellent! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They have nice looking website - thats the only pro i can think of. Theres a lot more cons. I'll start with really impatient instructor - Huw himself - shouting and yelling at me many times during my...
They have nice looking website - thats the only pro i can think of. Theres a lot more cons. I'll start with really impatient instructor - Huw himself - shouting and yelling at me many times during my lessons, making me so stresfull so i lost all my hope i can do it. He also hits his windows hard when yelling isnt enough. I know i wasnt catching everything as quick as others but shouting at your trainee - doesnt give any confidence at all. And it doesnt help either. Another con is the price. You pay 1195 and all you get is about 10h driving. Course takes 3 days and your exam is on 4th day. I had to share all my training with another lad - we just were swaping over every hour or so. After my 10 hours i didnt feel ready at all. So in the end i failed twice - all due to ways i was trained. Avoid if you can!

Nothing was ever too much trouble — he answered every question clearly and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
