I had such a fantastic experience learning to drive with Nigel. He is reliable and so organised, which made the whole booking and learning process entirely stress-free. The best part about him is how funny and easy to talk to he is. Every single lesson was enjoyable, which calmed my nerves and helped build my confidence on the road. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher and cannot recommend him enough!
He recognised I would be ready for my test earlier so suggested I move it. And I managed to pass first time with 2 minors.

I highly recommend Nigel as a driving instructor. He taught my sister, and because she had such a great experience, I decided to learn with him too.
Nigel is incredibly patient, helpful, and supportive. His lessons were never boring as he has a great sense of humour and makes learning to drive enjoyable.
Thanks to his excellent teaching, I passed my driving test first time! I’m really grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic driving instructor.

I 100% recommend using 1st Gear Driving School. Thanks to Nigel, my son passed first time today with only 1 minor. Nigel was very professional and he found a down to earth way, which landed with a 17 year old. My son genuinely looked forward to every lesson. I will have no hesitation calling Nigel when my daughter turns 17. Thank you Nigel, from Louie and Stuart

Highly recommend Nigel as a manual driving instructor. My son has passed his test first time with him, with 3 minors.
Nigel is very calm and patient. l am looking forward to booking lessons with him for my younger son in the future.

Nigel was a very reliable, nice and supportive instructor - he helped and taught very well but did not become angry if you were to make a mistake, instead he would remain calm and teach how to learn and resolve the problem. He was also a joy to be around and would crack jokes making the lessons enjoyable and not a chore, helping with the learning process. His flexibility with rearranging lessons also meant that there was no fee for cancelling. I would highly recommend!! I passed first due to him!!

I had such a fantastic experience learning to drive with Nigel. He is reliable and so organised, which made the whole booking and learning process entirely stress-free. The best part about him is how funny and easy to talk to he is. Every single lesson was enjoyable, which calmed my nerves and helped build my confidence on the road. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher and cannot recommend him enough!

I highly recommend Nigel as a driving instructor. He taught my sister, and because she had such a great experience, I decided to learn with him too.
Nigel is incredibly patient, helpful, and supportive. His lessons were never boring as he has a great sense of humour and makes learning to drive enjoyable.
Thanks to his excellent teaching, I passed my driving test first time! I’m really grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic driving instructor.
