The day finally came where I passed my test, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Paul himself. He provided so much time and commitment into my tuition than I could ever have thought of; and he would do the same for any individual. He's a very down to earth, genuine, respectful and most importantly patient instructor who will give up his time to help anyone no matter what driving ability. After many years living in London without ever needing a car, my move to Ledbury recently necessitated a set of my own wheels and the knowledge and confidence to drive them. Paul came as a bit of a gift from the blue in that in a conversation in the pub he happened to be in on my last birthday my friends talked about driving lessons... He overheard the 'encouraging' conversation as they willed me on to learn to drive and we discussed where to find a good instructor - and voi...la! Magical driving instructor Paul revealed himself like a fairy godfather and I took the conversation further and the following week I embarked on a long-awaited journey. Paul is incredibly calm and fantastic at instilling confidence and good road manners, discipline and technique. He makes it seem easy in his clear explanations as to what to do, when and how. After many hours and adventures (I did attempt a few lessons in London but never managed to get out of 3rd gear due to traffic!) - including at last driving in 4th and 5th gear with confidence along the fabulous roads and scenery in the shire, I have now passed my test with flying colours. I shall miss my lessons and our chats. Paul is also in possession of a terrific sense of humour and exceptionally good at putting you at ease.
