I had been learning with Phil for around 3/4 months, and he gave me the confidence I needed to book and complete my test. After passing my test in Portsmouth, i cannot recommend Phil highly enough. We started slow as i had not driven in over a year, and once i had found he got me test ready and available. Since there were a few breaks in between lessons due to my own timetable, he always made sure we took on from where we left off, and recapped the basics as well as pushing me with my driving. He is prompt and gives you his undivided attention in his instruction which is clear and helpful. This really ensures that if you do make a mistake you understand why and how to move on from it. As importantly he is very friendly and a great person to talk with which keeps you at ease (great in a dense city like Portsmouth), making the lesson time feel like it just flies by! Just passed this morning first time!! There's nothing in the test that Phil did not cover not to mention how gentle he was with my clumsy self. My first lesson was with him and he worked with me all the way till i passed today. Didn't change instructors and passed. Let's just say he knows his stuff and towards the end i was feeling confident and ready which is what you need when you have a great instructor like Phil. I definitely recommend!! Read Less
