Used Beverly Slater Driver Training recently for a family member from overseas who needed a few lessons before hiring a car here in the UK. Her partner had already had refreshers with another school but the instructor was away on holiday so decided to try a different school. I would like to say a million thanks to Rick, I passed on my first attempt! My previous instructor told me that I am not capable of driving a manuaI car and told me to switch to automatic. I switched that instructor instead! I was so lucky that I come across Beverly Slater and you gave me Rick. The driving instructor can very unprofessionally prepped and dressed and stunk like food! He started making excuses not the come and teach me any longer and was very rude and also like the other review lied about certain things to teach! Lessons weren't cheap either! Rip off! Read Less

Learning to drive with Tom was an absolute pleasure. I had previously learnt when I was a bit younger, but was never successful. My lessons were really well structured, and I felt very confident that I was being trained to drive well, rather than quick fixes to pass the test. The lessons were also really enjoyable- Tom is such a lovely guy, so I always looked forward to them, and felt comfortable to chat about any concerns. I won't go into much detail, but just absolutely DIRE DIRE DIRE. One star is one star too much. I have passed four licence categories so I know what good instruction and proper procedure looks like. My child received neither over 20 very expensive lessons. The hill start was not taught in all that time. And when I complained the instructor said my child was a liar and suggested she was deranged.
