Absolutely disappointed with this recommended driving school. My son started in August and has had a total of 7 cancelled lesson one a hr before, few on the same day, child care issues, maternity , forgot appointment, 2 for the snow ( so can’t be helped this isn’t included in the 7 ) 8 week gap because no one to takeover, he’s lost his confidence now and his fed up, I’ve phoned to voice my concern , only to get a young girl saying I totally understand, well it’s not good enough, I’ve spent £54 a week, and my son his still in the early stages of learning to drive. Now I have to find another driving instructor hopefully I’ll get a more professional one this time . Read Less

Very professional and helpful would highly recommend to everybody passed my test second time with sue birket as my instructor I was really nervous and couldn't of done it without sue and the friendly staff at latics :) some companies will rip your hand off for money for more and more lessons and pick fault so you keep paying for more this happened to me with my previous driving school I then changed over to latics and how quick I progressed was unbelievable I never thought I'd be able to pass Read Less

I have just had the pleasure of doing a 'Pass in a Week' 30 hour intensive course with the wonderful Angie! To begin, the course was right for me due to working full time. I booked a week off work and set the date at the end of the week for my test, so I had something to aim for! The days were long however split into halves with a nice break between. I found the intensive hours actually quite useful because I'd never really been around Chadderton or Failsworth before so it helped me remember the roads. Angie was absolutely brilliant; so patient and helpful but also tested me too with plenty of independent driving so I was really ready for the big test at the end of the week. We covered absolutely everything I needed to know and practiced over and over right up until the hour before. Her confidence in me was amazing and she was so full of praise and happy to help all the time. I would recommend Angie to absolutely anyone learning to drive, I was happy to put full faith in her to get me to a standard of being able to pass first time! I can't thank you enough! Also a big thank you to Lauren at the office who did all of the booking and arranging and provided me with all the relevant information I needed to know before booking the intensive course! I passed my driving test on the 26th April 2017. Being of an anxious disposition learning to drive was difficult for me, but Gordon Jennings was very accommodating and showed empathy to my particular situation. During lessons, Gordon would share his driving knowledge and wisdom to help me better understand certain aspects of driving. Gordon's patient and friendly approach enhanced my confidence, and this helped me develop a mentality to deal with any frustration in a positive and constructive manner. Any self-doubt that would creep in, Gordon would provide a calm and rational voice – urging me not to give up. Additionally, Gordon was also accessible outside of driving lessons. I could communicate any issue or question, either by e-mail or phone, and expect to receive an informative and well thought out response to my queries. Gordon's professionalism, understanding and positive support helped me pass my driving test. And more importantly equipped me with the tools to become a safe and competent driver. In my opinion - Gordon is a great driving instructor, but an even greater human being. my experience with latices drive school have been very good from the start my instructor was very help full and and good at giving me confident in my ability to drive.
