Uncle Joe is one the best driving instructors around. He explains everything clearly and makes you feel more at ease when driving. When i started lessons with Uncle Joe i had little confidence on the road but after 10 hours with Uncle Joe i was more confident on the road and passed my driving test within 3/4 weeks. What can I say about Joe and Uncle Joe’s Driving School!! Well, I passed my test on Monday with 3 weeks of tuition and with my hand on my heart I don’t think I would have been able to do it if it wasn’t for Joe, honestly. I have had two previous driving instructors and always felt that they held me back and were just after my money (Joe is the polar opposite of this). With Joe what you get with in comparison to other driving instructors is the confidence he instills into you from the very beginning. He is more of a coach rather than an instructor. He puts you at ease and knows when to push you to reach the next step and gives you simple analogies to make you understand where you need to get to. When I met with Joe for a taster session I had already had around 20-25 hours in the car with other instructors and I was far from the finished article (I knew this myself). After the taster session with Joe he knew my driving test was 3 weeks away and did everything he possible could to make me the finished article and he even came to work with me for a couple of hours on his day off. He pushed me to my limits in a carefully considered way to make me a safe and competent driver. The guidance from Joe well and truly paid off and when it came to test day I had a couple of hours in the car to beforehand to polish and finesses my driving (I would recommend this) and what do you know! I PASSED FIRST TIME with 2 minors, yes 2 minors and it is all down to Joe and his help!!! If you yourself are looking to learn to drive or know anyone that is, get in touch with Joe. I passed today with Uncle Joe's driving school and I could not be happier. Joe is an extraordinary person and phenomenal instructor and every testimony from previous students is 1000% accurate - he is leaps and bounds, stars and moons ahead of the competition. Within the very first lesson with Joe, I was awash with excitement and the buzz I could actually pass consumed me. He gently corrected all my previous bad habits and reassured me that I was a good, competent driver and had what it takes. Although I had all the skills to pass my test second time and Joe's support behind me, I still had a pervasive sense of negativity about my driving given from previous instructors and unfortunately, I failed my second attempt. I was so upset and I really did not want to go trough the emotional trauma of more lessons and another possible fail, but this for me, is the most important of all points to make and the essence of my review: the commitment Joe showed to get me back in the saddle was outstanding and with his support, I had another lesson the very next day after I failed. Joe carefully took note of both my test scores and worked diligently to rectify all the mistakes and built steadfastly my confidence on manoeuvres as this is what I failed on twice before - my leg just could not control the clutch once a manoeuvre went wrong - and we went over them in all situations until I knew from A-Z what to do if it went wrong again. It is an awful feeling to fail but Joe was a pillar of strength to get me back on the road and within two weeks after my last fail he booked me another test and I PASSED!!!!! Not only do I have a license to drive, but I truly have the confidence to drive anywhere now too, with safety for myself and all other road users. When Joe believes in you, he will do everything in his power for that pass. He is remarkably understanding, a seasoned professional and eminent teacher. I truly believe anyone can pass with Joe. I had 9 hours of lessons with Joe and passed within 8 days - with zero faults. Now there shouldn’t be anything more that I need to say, but in this special case, I will. Joe is undoubtedly at the top of the game in terms of instructors. He has such a relaxed aura about him that unconsciously transferred to me and my driving during the lessons. If I did something wrong, he calmly explained this and helped to rectify it. If I did something correct, he let me know. After my 3rd hour, he booked me in for my test. My only advice to other students is to just trust this man. He will know within the first hour where you stand in terms of driving, and has a brain like no other that can calculate exactly what improvements are needed for you to pass, and to pass first time.
