I've tried two driving instructors - Maria and Andrew. While Maria took me on the test routes, she was not always saying what I'm doing wrong and was silent most of the time. Occasionally, she would give me a tip, tell me what not to do. Andrew on the other hand, was constantly giving me tips and tricks and actively giving feedback on my driving - which was fantastic! Unfortunately, he did not cover Dual carriageways with me at all, which lead to me failing the test. He also did not cover all the test routes. I went on a completely new route on the day of my test and once the test was over, I told me "Oh, I know which way you went". My recommendation is 'Don't waste your money with Britannia'. Read Less

I passed! I did my lessons with a lady called Lilli and she was fantastic! I am already an experience driver in my own country and only had to do a few lessons with her! She helped me get rid of my bad habits and helped me passed my test on the first try! Read Less

I had been taking lessons with my instructor, Charlie, for the last six months and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My instructor was friendly, flexible, patient and really built my confidence up when driving. I started driving the car on my very first lesson and learnt so much, so quickly. Due to my instructor's mentoring and advice, I passed my practical driving test the first time I took it. I have loved learning to drive and would highly recommend my driving instructor (Charlie) to anyone! I chose to go with Britannia based on reviews I found online. Big mistake! A couple of days before my test date my driving instructor informed me he won't be able to come along to it as he's away on holiday when he knew the test was on that day. His argument was that i hadn't confirmed one of my lessons with him. I had to consequently cancel my test, loosing out on money and not feeling very confident about general driving. Plus I still have some outstanding lessons I had alr...eady paid for with this instructor. When I informed the office they were unable to apologise or offer any explanations but said they weren't really 'affiliated' with the driving instructor in question (even though they clearly were as he was working for them). They did offer to find me a new instructor and a new slot for my test. However, they didn't contact me for months and there was absolutely no communication unless it came from me. Customer service was a joke, rude and unhelpful and made my whole experience pretty awful. Looking at some of the responses from them even on here I can see nothing has changed. Crap customer service and very unprofessional. I purchased 40 hours worth of lessons, as I was told on the phone that they had an instructor who could accommodate my hours, a couple days a week after work, which is a pretty reasonable request. However I soon found out that, no one could accommodate my hours during the week. When I tried to get a refund for my 40 hours, I was told that I could not get a refund and that I should give them to someone or sell them. Stay well cl...ear from this driving school and an instructor called Eliot! He should not be an Intructor. After taking 40 hours of slips from me, you would of thought he would have taught me how to control the clutch properly. I only put up with the crap service as I need my licence asap and for that fact I could not get a refund. I was tricked into paying for a service they knew, full well they could not provide. I can't believe that I've passed the part 3 test, it feels so surreal, I don't think it will sink in until I get my green badge in the post. Not sure if I should keep my pink badge as a souvenir or shred it. lol I passed my Part 1 & Part 2 on the first attempt and passed my Part 3 on the second attempt. I'm now a fully qualified approved driving instructor ADI thanks to my trainer Peter and Britannia Driving School. Peter not only taught me how to teach real learners, but was really good at role playing various types of pupil and demonstrating typical driving errors and how to identify, analyze and correct them in a firm but fair way. He was also very knowledgeable about the structure of the test and explained how each PST should be done for both phases and how they relate to real driving lessons and not just the test.
