I was already a mature student, when I started to join Wimbledon Driving School. I had good driving instructors in the past, and many hours of driving behind. I guess, I just needed to believe in myself, that this time, I could pass my practical driving test. I am glad to say, that I finally passed my driving test with Wimbledon Driving School, and the lovely Sylvie Campus. I still remember the day, that I was still hoping just to be the "eternal" car passenger, and Sylvie told me that I was already a driver, so therefore I needed to drive her car straight away. She was right, I was already that driver she told me I was, and she was was just there, to reassure me, all the way through during my lessons with her. Being dyslexic, I have always had trouble with understanding even basic concepts of manoeuvres and for a very long time, I attempted so many times to go through my test, without still grasping them. I have returned to drive again after a long period away and chose Wimbledon Driving School as I have previously had some lessons with them. So far my experience has been excellent! Cameron Kane, my instructor, is fantastic to work with and within a few lessons I have not only completed all of the test manoeuvres but have also surpassed my previous level of driving ability. Cameron is extremely easy to get on with, and we chat throughout our lessons. He is very laid back and encouraging in his teaching, and his style promotes confidence in learners like myself. I’m very happy that I passed my test on 21/02/2018 under Tony Ramsey’s mentorship!! He is truly a testament to Wimbledon Driving School. Hands down their best asset. He was always consistent when I wasn’t. Upbeat & reassuring when I got stressed or tired of driving. Encouraging me to continue without pressuring until I passed. He has the patience of a saint and truly goes above and beyond what is required from an instructor or “what can be taught” in a 1 hour lesson for his students. I never felt rushed to end my lesson, I never felt scared to ask a question or to re-do a manoeuvre. The constant affirmation when I was driving well and more so.... even when I wasn’t ... was so helpful. Boosted my confidence. So easy to win when you’re instructor genuinely wants to see you win too and independent on the roads! Tony is a fantastic teacher. Funny, honourable and 100% committed to his students & his work. I'm so so late in posting this but I passed first time in June with Kingsley's help. I'd been trying to learn for 10 years and always gave up because it felt too scary. Kingsley really put me at ease and didn't pressure me to do more than I felt comfortable with, but I felt confident that he was there to help me deal with difficult situations. Where should I start? It was not just an experience of learning driving but also having been a victim of a very serious accident which had impacted on my confidence severely. Allayne was very understanding and a great mentor helping me regain my confidence. Allayne is very passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of driving. Her friendly and fun personality make learning to drive an enjoyable experience. One of the best things that I noticed all the way was that Allayne is very good at picking up aspects of driving that you are lacking and then dealing with it very quickly. So today I passed my part 3 ����and I couldn't be happier. �Big shout out to my instructor Russ who helped me massively! When I came from training with another company I thought I wasn't going to be able to do this test but the way Russ broke it down into sections to teach me helped loads. Then once I was getting the hang of things, he changed his teaching techniques to coaching me through the areas I needed help with so no wasting time! This made me the best instructor I could be. Couldn't of done it without his patience. During training, I used to get frustrated when I couldn't get it but Russ would just explain it again and push me to my potential. I started lessons with Rob Russell in March and passed my exam just under 3 months later first time and with only 4 minors. Initially I started with another instructor and after a few lessons, changed to Rob. I never felt as though he was holding me back or pushing me too fast during my lessons. He's excellent at explaining the little details that you'll need to remember for your exam. He's great fun and very patient as well so any anxiety that you may have as a new driver goes away pretty easily!Read Less

I would highly recommend Vasil as an instructor, he communicates well, puts you at ease and is a pleasure to learn with. I have had 3 teachers before Vasil and none of them come close to his lessons, very effective and professional. He is very knowledgeable and gives great advice. I would highly recommend Wimbledon driving school, I recently passed my test after failing twice with another instructor. Allayne Hakins was my instructor this time round and I can honestly say she is amazing, I always felt at ease in the car never did i want to give up (might of had my mood swings). A big thanks to Mustafa! I passed my driving test last week from the 1st attempt with two minors! I couldn't be happier I had him as my instructor. After taking lessons 10 years ago I was put off driving and was really scared and insecure in my abilities. After few lessons I actually started enjoying my driving lessons. Mustafa's friendly approach, patience and great sense of humour created a great relaxed atmosphere for learning. I was an inexperienced driver, felt very anxious and nervous in taking lessons but as soon as I got in the car I was relaxed at felt safe at all times.
