Would like to say the biggest thankyou to Mike Tilley. I have had a few driving instructors with moving around but Mike has been the one to make learning how to drive enjoyable and not something to worry about and finally getting me to the point of passing my test! Had a crash course which I failed and that’s not the problem the problem is after taking the test there are no instructors for months to take another test, this company is a joke they take your money 500 pound and when you fail don’t want to know you, I was told over the phone to go else where. I knew it was a possibility to fail but thought that surepass would stand by me and continue with me till I did eventually pass, just be careful before booking a crash course fast pass, I know the pass rate is high but it doesn’t excuse the fact they do this to people who fail Read Less

I had been learning to drive since I was 17 with multiple lessons from two different instructors (different companies) which I never got anywhere with due to typical reasons (couldn’t fit me in, made excuses but was happy to take money etc). From the very start Helen has always been punctual and extremely well organised. She writes down all lesson plans and everything that is achieved in each lesson and will go above and beyond to make sure you will pass your test as-soon as possible. Helen Wheelan was the best instructor I could have asked for!!! When I first started driving my anxiety was terrible and I really struggled with it. I never thought I’d pass my test due to how sever my anxiety was.Thanks to Helen’s patience,guidance and understanding I’ve finally passed my test!! Throughout the whole experience Helen was right there encouraging me and adapting my lessons to cope with my anxiety. I’m so much more confident when it comes to driving now and have systems in place thanks to Helen that should anything go wrong or I make a mistake I have a coping mechanism in place! Couldn’t have hand picked a better instructor. Passed with Adrian Devall after previously having been with a different instructor. Incredibly dedicated to making sure you definitely pass, Ade is very good at giving you all the tools and knowledge needed to get you test ready, whilst having the patience to make sure you’re 100% on track. Was really impressed with his calming influence which only helps you relax and get on with the job. His instructions were very clear and you always know what you should be doing. Would just like to warn everybody about Greg Davidson a driving instructor for SurePass driving who wrongly tried to extort more money for driving lessons than his company charges. I had booked a block of 10 lessons for £230. After our first meeting he had told me to pay direct next time to him. We made a timetable with an extra 8 hours added on. After the meeting he sent me a lesson schedule with the lessons on it claiming he wanted £292 pound for these 8 lessons as a surcha...rge of £4.50 was added per hour in the evenings(from 5pm onwards) and weekends. At no point was this mentioned face to face or on the SurePass website. Not only had he added this surcharge but changed our meeting time from 4pm to 5pm so he could charge an extra hour surcharged per lesson. When I contacted SurePass they had no idea he was charging extra money and informed me he shouldn’t be doing this. I was offered a measly apology and had my money refunded. Imagine an old man extorting money and taking advantage of people he is supposed to be teaching for his own financial gain !!!
