If I had to use one word to describe Mas, it would be dedicated. Mas works his hardest to provide a relaxed atmosphere as well as an ideal environment for learning. Mas has an exceptional level of patience and dexterity, as well as nerves of steel. I believe these combined traits make him an excellent driving instructor, capable of averting disaster with his ninja-quick reflexes. Cannot recommend enough! Mas gave me the confidence to believe in myself, my ability and fight through my anxiety. His patience, understanding and awful sense of humour made our lessons enjoyable- especially considering my nerves and my nature to give up. Mas was flexible and accommodating with our lessons and will always work around a busy schedule with spot on organisation and time keeping. Thanks to Mas I passed FIRST TIME with only TWO MINORS! Before starting lessons with Hero Driving School I had never so much as started a car before. From the first phone call I felt completely at ease with Hero Driving School. I was never pressured into booking huge blocks of lessons or taking my test before I was ready. Mas was flexible, engaged, polite and extremely personable. As a teacher he kept me entertained with his excellent/terrible accents, useful and humourus similes, and wealth of knowledge at his disposal. He was calm, patient and knew exactly what I needed to learn and when. I had a 2hr lesson a week, with no additional practice outside of these lessons. Mas was incredible at building my confidence and teaching me everything I needed to not only pass but to be safe and smart on the road. So, with Mas, I managed a FIRST TIME PASS WITH ONLY 2 MINORS! I had received a few driving lessons in the past, which caused me to have a few anxieties on the road. I was then recommended by a friend to use Mas as she passed her practical test first time. Mas made sure I was fully comfortable in all aspects of driving before I took my test, and he was always positive, patient and understanding with me. Whether it be his crazy (awful) accents, his constant use of "compare the meerkat" impressions, or his story-telling, Mas always made sure I was laughing and enjoying every lesson. I couldn't recommend a better driving instructor!! After my theory test ran out 2 years ago, I wanted to make sure I could drive now I have finished university and moved home. I took an intensive course of 20 hours across 2 and a half weeks, and I was so scared I wouldn't be able to do it because I hadn't been behind a wheel of a car in four years. Mas is an amazing instructor, completely put me at ease and today I have just passed my test first time with only one minor right at the end of the test when I was completing my bay park right at the end, which was totally avoidable but I let my nerves get the better of me!
