James is a very, very smart man. The way he simplifies and breaks down individual concepts into basic, memorable routines is amazing. I had never driven a car before, and had been putting it off for almost 10 years. After finally plucking up the courage to try it, James had me on the road and driving home by the end of my first lesson. At that point I fell in love with driving. As none of my immediate family drive, I had no extra tuition and no ability to practice outside of our lessons, but with his teaching style, James made sure that this wasn't a hindrance to me. I had my first lesson at the end of May, and had passed on the first attempt before the end of October. He had a very busy schedule, but always found time and was able to adapt to my work schedule. I cannot recommend James highly enough, he was always patient, reassuring and had a very positive outlook and attitude that made every lesson a pleasure. From my very first lesson I knew straight away that James was going to get me through my lessons. He puts in so much effort and talks through everything and makes sure you understand it completely before moving on.
