Great experience with ignition. Company makes certain you're at a high standard before putting you in for test! Which is good because tests aren't cheap and you don't want to be doubtful about passing...
Great experience with ignition. Company makes certain you're at a high standard before putting you in for test! Which is good because tests aren't cheap and you don't want to be doubtful about passing first time.

I am very happy to write this review for Ignition. To cut a long story short I was putting off learning to drive for over a decade, I was extremely anxious and nervous about the thought of driving. I eventually plucked the courage to book lessons with Andy and Caroline. Andy was exceptional at teaching and putting me at ease. I passed my test on my first try and it was thanks to Andy.

Passing my driving test has changed my life. I have a fantastic job and wouldn't be able to do this without driving. Also, I live more than 200 miles away from my family and driving enabled me to care...
Passing my driving test has changed my life. I have a fantastic job and wouldn't be able to do this without driving. Also, I live more than 200 miles away from my family and driving enabled me to care for my mum who was ill with terminal cancer and continue to visit my father who is 81 and recently disabled. As a worried and very anxious learner driver, Andy taught me to drive after a series of failed attempts with other instructors. I can never thank him enough. Caroline (his wife) who helps run the business was always supportive, kind and helpful. If you are worried about learning to drive get in touch with Andy and Caroline. I'm sure they could help.

So happy with my experience with Ignition: I was a very nervous learner, but Andy was so patient and explained everything really clearly. He knew when I was ready for me test, and because of his tuition I managed to pass my test first time, with only two minor faults. Really happy that I chose them. :)

Ignition Driving School was recommended to me by a mixture of family members and friends who had received top quality driving lessons. From my first lesson with Andy it became obvious that I was going to enjoy my learning experience and that I was going to be test ready not only fairly quickly, but also with a lot of confidence. Andy made me feel very confident behind the controls and from the first lesson gave me a lot of independence; driving on roads straight away and building up experience to tackle busier roads.
I couldn't possibly fault my experience with this company. Not only did I recieve top class tuition, but I felt very welcomed by the company as a whole. A mixture of friendliness and professionalism definitely made me feel comfortable in the driver's seat, which is an attribute that I still hold now and one that I am grateful to Andy for.
I enjoy driving and would go as far to say that almost every time I drive my own car, I think back to my lessons with Andy and continue to practise the methods he taught me.
(Passed first time with 1 driving error!) Absolutely brilliant, look no further :)
