I have been trying off and on to learn how to drive for around 16 years with different instructors. I have now passed my first actual driving test on the very first try after just a few months with Karl and I finally feel confident in myself and my understanding of driving thanks to him. In our first lesson Karl could tell exactly where my driving was falling short and worked with me to correct and hone my skills. He didn’t just teach me how to drive, he taught me to understand WHY I was doing what I was doing and he has genuinely become a friend and general mentor to me, helping me with my terrible anxiety and lack of confidence. Karl was friendly and professional the entire time, never raising his voice but never letting mistakes slide either. He will always explain where you went wrong, but you will always have a laugh and come away from a lesson smiling. He never missed a lesson or messed me around and always did his best to accommodate any changes I needed. I cannot recommend nor thank him and Michelle enough. Likes to show off in front of young learners, seen leaning out of passenger car window and shouting at other road users and pedestrians, very unprofessional and not the sort of behaviours you’d want or expect a driving instructor to be demonstrating. There are already enough aggressive hot heads on the road without this instructor teaching others how to be like him. Avoid. Read Less
