Pretty obvious and sad Also "mel roberts" who gave a glowing review a year ago is his wife. The icing on the cake is I have a phone recording with Phils contact number with him admitting he watched YouTube videos while I was at the wheel during a lesson and the vehicle was moving BIG MISTAKE. I will be passing this on to the relevant governing bodies so that they can investigate this. With me he spent most of the lessons on his mobile phone. Made jokes about me failing on the morning of my test. Did an intensive course followed by subsequent lessons. Like i say, spent most of his time on his phone and its seemed like the rest slagging off his other students. Including one a female solicitor he says is never going to pass (i hope she reads this and realizes) . He also paid me £10 for a positive review right at the beginning of my lessons when we were sat in a cafe on a break. I let myself feel pressured and gave him the review i wish i hadnt. All in all a fairly negative experience where i never felt nurtured or like he cared if i passed or not. he just wanted the money and for some reason always prefured cash. Long winded review i know but just letting potential customers know what they could be letting themselves in for. I really thought the trick of paying for a good review before i got the measure of him was quite clever on his part especially as i cant find a methed to withdraw or edit my origional review. My driving instructor was Phil and I would recommend him to anyone, he was very patient with me when I first started to drive, I picked up some bad habits when I first started driving but Phil quickly got me out of them. I would highly recommend ICE Driving School to anyone who wants pass first time and be confident on the road. My instructor, Phil Roberts, was fully aware of my driving intentions and ensured that I progressed and achieved every lesson. I was very conscientious and was keen on perfecting everything, and so with Phil's endless patients and faith in my ability I passed first time with one minor.
