We did the Land Rover experience last week and had an amazing time. Our instructor Neil was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. We drove through some very rugged countryside and woodland and we were totally amazed at everything the Evoque is capable of. Our experience was part of our new Discovery package. I had a ball! The best bit was looking in the rear passenger seat to see my husband's horrified face as I drove up a bank lifting two wheels off the ground. Our instructor was Dave Parr, what a star that man is; calm, professional, quick to smile and informative. To inspire confidence in a 73 year old who had never driven off road to the point off potential addiction speaks volumes. I messed up once, did not take my foot RIGHT OFFF THE PEDALS and let the car come down a steep slope. At the bottom Dave said, “That was well done but it was not what I told you to do, shall we try it again?” Next time, perfect! I discovered the vehicle made a better job off it without my input. I loved it and asked if I might do it again, Dave allowed me to, even though the extra time ate into his lunch break. We drove for 3 hours and it felt like 10 minutes. The centre is pristine, all the staff were friendly. We enjoyed bed and breakfast at the farm and were made very welcome. My husband? Yes, he had an experience also…. Read Less
