The most important aspect of choosing a driving instructor to train me up to instructor standard was ability to get along. Matt is a very easy person to get along with, very knowledgeable and efficient, all important aspects when you are in a car with someone for over 60 hours of instruction and your eventual livelihood depends on the outcome. Matt delivered tailored lessons covering my individual needs leading to my success as I am now also a fully qualified driving instructor thanks to Matt at Go2 driving school. Now I am working as a driving instructor I can say that the flexibility in timings of lessons and how many customers I want to take onboard has lead to a better quality of life, being able to spend more time with my family. I feel as though it was important to find a driving instructor that worked for me, Matt was an absolutely pleasure to work with, he always worked hard to fit my lessons in and went out of his way to book time slots that worked for me. Due to the fact that I work it was important to find a driving instructor who could work later than 5 o'clock. Learning to drive has definitely been an interesting roller-coaster of experience, and I feel as though I now have the experience to drive safe. As a trainee ADI approaching my Part 2 test I was keen to get an expert assessment on my current readiness for the test. Matthew's approach was fantastic with the right blend of friendliness, encouragement and honest feedback throughout. I had wasted time with unreliable driving instructors in the past, not getting very far, so the main thing I was looking for in a new instructor was someone with a solid reputation. A read through some of Go2's reviews was enough to reassure me of this. The fact that they are priced slightly above most schools is reassuring because as with most things you get what you pay for and I can honestly say that this is the case with Go2 (buy cheap, pay twice!) Learning to drive is now progressing much faster for me and I never feel any time is wasted. Matt's teaching methods are that bit different as he teaches you to understand the reasons behind different processes rather than just giving you rules to memorise. Lessons are tailored to suit your needs and Matt will be always be careful to give the right amount of instruction whether it be small prompts, full instruction or a demonstration. It makes such a difference in progressing that bit faster as it all feels much more natural and the lessons are never boring, 2 hours seem to fly by! When choosing a driving school the most important thing for me was finding an instructor who customised the training to my specific needs, which is exactly what I receive at Go2. Matt has been flexible with lesson times as well which is a real help when my free time is limited. So far the whole process has been made really easy for me, with clear instruction and any questions answered straight away. Nothing seems rushed or like I'm under too much pressure so it's a great learning environment to be in. When looking for driving lessons I was looking for a school that looked the most professional, had a high pass rate and good customer reviews for proof of reliability. Go2 Driving school ticked all of those boxes. Before I came to Go2 I was at a previous driving school that I wasn't happy with due to the service I was receiving. I only had about 5 weeks to go until my test date so I was under pressure, after a short easy phone call to Matt he had me set up for lessons within a couple of days to begin my final lessons. Even after 40+ hours with other driving instructors I found that I was still learning with Matt, he was covering things previous instructors hadn't actually covered with me. It has given me more confidence and made me feel even safer on the roads. He won't ever just tell you something, he will always explain why or give you a reason so that you completely understand the reasons for certain things. You do pay a little bit extra than most other driving schools, but what you pay for is what you get. The quality of service I have received has been great and I'd much rather pay that tiny bit extra for much better quality teaching with a really high pass rate, than pay less to receive satisfactory lessons and less understandings of the car and the roads. When choosing a driving school I was looking for a high pass rate, positive customer reviews and a overall professionally constructed driving school. Go2 Driving proved to be just that and after a short phone call to Matt I was very pleased to hear that he was very flexible with booking times which was a massive help as i was working a lot of hours at the time. I thought learning to drive would be a challenge, but with Go2 driving it was a breeze. The teaching methods were very easy to understand and remember. This along with Matt's patience and confidence in me meant i was driving confidently and safely in no time! The tuition vehicle was always kept clean and the heated seats made lessons very comfortable during the cold evenings.
