The trade name 'Uplands School of Motoring' was established in 1984. The objective of this driving school is and always has been to teach people to drive using the defensive driving method. This method of teaching starts with control over the clutch/gears/steering/ forward planning and lots of common sense, consideration for other road users, including pedestrians and animals.
