Drive for Life School of Motoring is a friendly family run Driving School Based in Widnes, providing Driving Lessons and expert driving tuition with a fully qualified highly skilled driving instructor (ADI) in Widnes and the surrounding areas. Our instructors are friendly, reliable and professional. We can structure your Driving Lessons to meet your individual driving ability and learning speed. We are here to teach you how to drive safely for life and give you the confidence to pass your test. We will provide a calm and friendly atmosphere in which to learn your new skills, making it perfect for pupils who may be a little nervous to begin with.

I couldn’t recommend Colin anymore!! He’s such a lovely person & puts in effort to ensure you understand every part of driving. I have recently passed with 0 minors thanks to Colin! He has a set structure for the first 10 (on average) lessons to teach you everything you need to know about the roads eg. Traffic lights/roundabouts and teaches you techniques to learn a set routine. I went on every test route possible before my test so that nothing was new and I was 100% confident with everything :) honestly the best instructor around!!

My experience with Colin was brilliant. He took his time to explain things clearly and made sure I was doing everything correctly. He built my confidence and gave me the tools to become a safe and proficient driver. I passed first time today and I couldn't have chose a better teacher. Thanks col.

Colin is an excellent instructor and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He has recently taught both my son and daughter to drive providing advice and guidance, building their confidence and most importantly imparting the skills to ensure they are safe on the road. Incidentally both passed 1st time. Thanks Colin.

You can immediately tell the experience and professionalism Colin has from the first lesson and that allows the student to have confidence in learning to drive. I passed first time and I give a huge amount of credit to Colin's instruction for that. Would fully recommend to any learner.

I recently passed my driving test first time and I can honestly say it was due to Colin's excellent driving tuition. He is a total professional instructor and with the skill and patience to teach anybody at any level. Colin was able to work around my busy schedule with work and family commitments, something that always stopped me from learning to drive. I would recommend Colin as a driving instructor to anybody without hesitation and I plan on getting further tuition from him in the very near future with regards to advanced driving skills.

I passed my driving test fairly recently after taking lessons from Colin and I only have great things to say about my driving experience!! The methods of teaching and the way in which everything was explained and demonstrated were brilliant, and I felt my driving improving immensely. To anyone considering Drive For Life I would 100% recommend!!

I booked just 20 lessons for my daughter thinking that I would then have to book at least another course of 10 if not more. Well Emma did absolutely brilliant, she was confident and happy with Colin ...
I booked just 20 lessons for my daughter thinking that I would then have to book at least another course of 10 if not more. Well Emma did absolutely brilliant, she was confident and happy with Colin from day one, and she is a hard task master!! Colin was very encouraging from day one and filled Emma with enthusiasm and confidence with every lesson. Emma took her test and passed 1st time. I have to say that Colin was extremely accommodating fitting lessons to suit my daughter's hectic schedule. He is totally professional and I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Colin to anybody looking for a first class instructor. My daughter has also benefitted by doing the pass plus course which I as a parent think is very beneficial for new drivers.
