I passed my test second time round in Feb 2011 with Pete as my driving instructor. I have really enjoyed learning to drive with him. He is very down to earth, easy to get along with, upbeat and makes you feel at ease. He is always very constructive, if you make a mistake it's not a big deal, you just find a way to fix it. Pete really has a really great approach as a driving instructor. I would definitely recommend Pete to anyone learning to drive. Thank you Pete! Katrina

I started to learn to drive with Pete in April 2010 and I passed my test first time at the beginning of November 2010.
Pete was an awesome driving instructor, had such a good laugh with him and learn...
I started to learn to drive with Pete in April 2010 and I passed my test first time at the beginning of November 2010.
Pete was an awesome driving instructor, had such a good laugh with him and learnt from him really quickly. He was really patient with me and never shouted even though sometimes he would have been well in his place too! Pete made me feel soo comfortable which meant I learnt quicker and I drove better because of it. Pete was really reliable, never late and was always really cooperative if I had to change my lesson times. He's not one of those driving instructors who are in it for the money or just for the sake of it, he really loves his job, loves to teach people and there is no pressure put on you when it comes to taking your test, as I said, I passed first time.
So all in all, just learn with Pete you won't regret it :)

I enjoyed my lessons with Pete, and even though I was really nervous I still passed first time (Thanks Pete :D). I would recommend Pete to be your driving instructor, he was always very patient, calm...
I enjoyed my lessons with Pete, and even though I was really nervous I still passed first time (Thanks Pete :D). I would recommend Pete to be your driving instructor, he was always very patient, calm and understanding and was aware enough to use his brake when necessary! He always explained clearly about what we were going to do that lesson and the procedures for each manoeuvre which meant that I felt more secure as I understood what I was about to do. I feel that I got good value from my lessons with Pete as he mainly concentrated on my weakest areas therefore no time was wasted, he was always punctual and gave me plenty of notice if he was going to be unable to see me at my usual lesson time.

Pete is a lovely, very friendly and calm person, not once did he shout at me if i made a mistake, as i know some of my friends instructors did. He explained everything to me and if i didnt understand ...
Pete is a lovely, very friendly and calm person, not once did he shout at me if i made a mistake, as i know some of my friends instructors did. He explained everything to me and if i didnt understand he didnt have a problem with explaining until i got it. I passed first time with him in March 2010, which is great. He made me confident and relaxed whilst on my driving lessons and to go out and be able to practic with my mum or dad. Also to have the confidence to drive alone. I'm proud to say Pete Barton was my driving instructor and would recommend him to anyone!

I passed my test second time round in Feb 2011 with Pete as my driving instructor. I have really enjoyed learning to drive with him. Pete was an awesome driving instructor, had such a good laugh with him and learnt from him really quickly. He was really patient with me and never shouted even though sometimes he would have been well in his place too! I would recommend Pete to be your driving instructor, he was always very patient, calm and understanding and was aware enough to use his brake when necessary! Pete is a lovely, very friendly and calm person, not once did he shout at me if i made a mistake, as i know some of my friends instructors did. He explained everything to me and if i didnt understand he didnt have a problem with explaining until i got it. I passed first time with him in March 2010, which is great.
