Expensive and didn't feel I was learning much after three months of lessons, I asked when I would be able to take my test and was told not for at least another three months so booked a couple of lessons with Kevin McCann in Ellesmere Port and was put in for my test within a month and passed first time, I don't think she's keen on lads and I wasn't and still aren't a boy racer either!!

I came to XL Driving School in January 2013 after being involved in a minor accident where another driver pulled out of a road and hit the side of the car in July 12 with another instructor. I text Amanda and she telephoned me back pretty much immediately and booked me in for a lesson.
Amanda is an amazing lady who shows empathy and sensitivity to drivers with low confidence and is able to empower and support you to improve your driving. Each lesson was tailored to work on different aspects of driving such as things i need to learn, improve on or things i wasn't confident with. If i made a mistake Amanda reassured me which re-boosted my confidence. She made me feel very comfortable, welcomed and at ease on every lesson.
After just over a month of having lessons i passed my test first time! Amanda believed in me and again reassured me, giving me the confidence to drive safely and properly to pass. I can't thank Amanda enough and I honestly don't think i could have done it without her! Looking forward to starting my pass plus driving course with her in the upcoming weeks!
I would recommend XLDS (Amanda) to anyone learning to drive. Thanks again!

Hi, just wanted to say if you are looking for a supportive but objective driving instructor who will encourage you and give you all the support you need, do not look further.
I found Amanda after my previous instructor from a big franchise left the company, and I was really not comfortable with driving in traffic and had already picked up a few bad habits.
Amanda was flexible, supportive and helped me a lot so I managed to pass my driving test at the age of 32. She knows the test routes inside out and can help you by telling you how to deal with different situations. If I made a mistake at one point, she made me go back again to make sure I was comfortable with driving in that particular situation.
Thanks again, I would recommend her to anyone.
