After putting off driving for 4 years, I finally decided to bite the bullet and begin learning. I decided on Steve of Drive Safe due to his glowing reviews and I can safely say all those positive reviews don't do this man justice, he really is magnificent! His knowledge of driving along with his friendly, calming personality made learning to drive with him a pleasure. With ease he managed to create a sense of capability and confidence in me to drive. Over the months of driving with Steve he became more than just a driving instructor, but a friend and while I am proud to say that because of Steve I passed my driving test first time and that I am obviously very happy about this, I am also a little sad that I will no longer get to drive with Steve again. I knew that learning to driving would be a life skill, that would not come quickly or easily to me. So it required me to find the right driving instructor, who would be patient and would be able use a variety of ways of learning to ensure I fully learnt what was required to be able to drive. One of the best decisions I could have ever made with regards to learning to drive is choosing Steve's Drivesafe School. Steve's many years of experience and ability to break down all scary aspects of driving into manageable bits was the key to my success of passing. Steve also provide me with continuity of the same teaching slot each week, which I fully appreciated. In lessons, I was fully able to be myself and comfortable with Steve. The setting of objectives and structure of each lesson, allowed me to continually see my progress and acknowledge that I was working towards my goal. I wanted an instructor to help me transition from a non-UK license to a UK one, so I was looking for someone with the experience to judge what I needed to work on versus trying to teach me to drive as if I was a beginner. Steve was absolutely the perfect choice. He has many years of experience in all aspect of driving, and has earned more driving and instructing qualifications than anyone I've ever met. He is highly professional, and uses a stress-free, well-honed teaching style that worked very well for me. The proof is in the results though: first-time pass, and to be honest the real exam was much easier than the mock Steve put me through.
